I strongly recommend watching blackfish. Seaworld has captured many whales in the past, including Tilly, who lives at seaworld Orlando. No amount of space in a pool can come close to mimicking the ocean. Seaworld needs to end their breeding program and set free the whales that they can. Tilly, the Orca (who I believe is shown in this video at 3:15) is responsible for the deaths of three people, because of years of abuse at seaworld and other marine parks. These poor creatures are slaves to entertainment. I know, I'm such a buzz kill, but something needs to be said. #anticaptivity

Orca's do not have similar lifespans to humans in the wild. The average lifespan for wild Orcas is 30 for males and 50 for females. Tilikum has already surpassed 30. Raking Orca's do not mean people scrape them with rakes. Jfc. 'Raking' is when 1 Orca scrapes their teeth against another Orca, this is a natural behaviour that's used to establish pod hierarchy. The large amount of raking that happened to Tilikum was caused by SeaLand of the Pacific because they housed incompatible Orca's together. SeaWorld had nothing to do with SeaLand's poor Orca care. Tilikum is not insane. Unfortunately for a reason we will never know he did kill Dawn, and that is tragic. But that is no proof that Tilikum is insane! Blackfish is not true. It's full of lies and is designed to push an agenda.

I love going to SeaWorld. We didn't go this past year, but my family usually goes once during the summer and then again at christmas and watching them go on all the things I went on when I was there made me way happier than I thought it would. Yes, I know about the blackfish documentary. Yes, I know about captivity, so on and so forth. Just, you know, before you stone me and call me a naive idiot for having fond memories of something I grew up with.

Ashley Collier irk its just like people kill animals for food over breed keep them in captivity everything sea world does (except purposely kill them of corse) but yet its fine for people to still eat chicken ham etc? i just don't get society and it won't stop me from having fun at sea world.... just won't support it and hopefully they will begin to treat there animals more fair and i do believe they are treating animals more fair then they use to (well at least i hope so specially cause all the news)
