Great content, I really enjoyed SeaWorld it's probably the one park I would always visit, they do so much good work for wildlife and while not everyone agrees with what they do, the parks are a valuable revenue stream to fund these rehabilitation and rescues .

That brought back some memories. My son and I went in 2004 (he was 10). Rides were great, loved the manatee presentation, touched a stingray (yuck). The one thing I'll never forget was coming face to face with Tillicum at the outer viewing tank. He swam right up to the glass and glared at me for about five minutes. Madness in his eyes. Scared the shit out of me. If he could have gotten out, he would have. This was several years before he drowned his trainer. And yes, I've seen Blackfish. And oddly enough, I had seen him before in the late 80's at Seaworld Niagara Falls, but not close up. I wouldn't go inside the stadium for the Orlando show, which led to a meltdown by the kiddo. So we went to Margaritaville in Universal instead. We had the shuttle buses, as we stayed right down the street from Universal. During a police detective convention🤪

Brilliant!! It seems crazy now, what those trainers were doing back then. They have quite a mouth full of teeth and if you’ve ever seen them kill, it’s not a pleasant affair. Tillicum clearly became a bit unhinged and he was donor to most of the new births as Blackfish reported. I still remember our first times seeing him, we both were in tears. Seaworld have done some bad things but so has every other zoo in the world, it’s good that changes are happening. And they now have some of the best rides in Orlando.

Great video again, I’m just taking cash on my holiday and I know Seaworld and Busch Gardens are now cashless, did you have any experience of using the machines to convert cash onto a card ? Thanks

Hi, no we didn’t use those machines. We have cash, Revolut and a uk credit card for emergencies. Why not get a Revolut card? There have been other occasions where cash doesn’t work such as vending machines and lockers.

I don’t know how you both ride them rides I would be as giddy as a bat, glad seaworld have stopped doing shows they should all be free. See you in the next one have great time 😊

Yes they should be, but most wouldn’t survive the wild. It’s more respectful that they are not used for entertainment but it’s a fine line to tread. We were watching dolphin encounters at Discovery cove today, that should be stopped now.
