So glad to see you visit my home park! SeaWorld San Diego only recently started building big roller coasters because there was a height limitation in the coastal zones so they couldn’t build tall rides before. And the reason why their tall roller coasters are all different shades of blue is because anything above 30 feet has to blend in with the sky.

The first time visiting Sea World was in 1968...awesome memories! The one time my step dad actually came with us to an amusement park! Spent some time there in the early 80's also with my own little boy! ❤️ I went back in the late 90's with my (ex) husband and our 3 children...my oldest passed away in 1989 (7 1/2). Thanks for the memories Sea World, San Diego ❤️ 🌼

I lived in SD from 1985-88 and was a passholder to SW. Back then there were no rollercoasters but I always thought they needed one. I had the name all picked out but they have never used it yet. My name? The Great White! 😊🐋 It's been a long time since I visited and boy has it changed. SD is the best place I've lived in my 63 yrs. It's so beautiful with so many awesome places to visit and experience. So happy you got see it Nate.

When I was a kid they used to have a restaurant after the one way journey on the skyway at Sea World. You would exit the skyway if you wanted to go eat at the restaurant and it was a sit down type of place. The food was good I remember my entree was called chicken of the gods. Then you would get on the skyway to take the ride back. We have been having a big marine layer as we call it, here in San Diego, this Summer. Usually the marine layer hangs over the coast for May and June, we call it May grey and June gloom. Then it is gone and our sunshine remains. However, some Summers it just wants to hang around longer. Perhaps when you come back you can see the views with the proper San Diego sunshine. Glad you were able to film on the coasters. Just found your channel and I enjoy the videos. Thanks.

The park sure has changed, but seriously 6 bucks to ride the sky tower❓ This looks like the Sky Cabin you can ride for free on the Sky Tower at Knott's. They were a bit locked down - no coasters running, but we loved all the animal shows and employees were awesome! Your camera work on the rides is so steady! I grew up going to that park!! :) It's changed so much since I was little. I'd ride the SkyTower and we'd look for our car as well as my Grandma's house. We'd watch the fireworks from her front yard in the summer, and I'd know it was time to go to bed when I'd hear them from my house. (Which was a mile further away). The SkyWay is a Vonroll Skyway exactly the same as the one that was in use at Disneyland. There's a second one at the San Diego Zoo. There was a restaurant on the other side with Koi ponds.
