WOW! That was so awesome, I’ve watched many many videos and I’ve never had one to put me on the edge of my seat. That was in such a delicate area and you worked with such a steady hand, ease, care and precision! The suture was very impressive. The cyst looked like a tiny little Easter egg. Beautiful work!

@@nevinkevin9038 Kevin I just had mine removed a month ago and everything went well. There is no scar that I can see but then again the cyst was in the outer corner of my eye. My doctor didn't need to stitch but cauterized the opening. Guess it depends on the size and what not. Procedure only took about 10 minutes and no lingering pain. Hope yours goes well!

​@@riccaesar Hello doc, I am currently an oculoplastic fellow, we have high surgical volume in everything except endoscopy. Do you think it is a necessary skill for oculoplastic nowadays? Do you believe watching videos, such as endoscopic eyebrow lift videos, is enough to perform such procedures?

@@Farinata2 Hi, I would very much recommend taking every opportunity to learn new techniques on formal "hands on" courses, as well as direct observation. Video is great but doesn't usually show problems or difficulties. There is nothing that beats live surgery to reveal what the videos may be missing :). Is endoscopy necessary? Basic endonasal ability is essential, but I, for example, have been happy to refer endoscopic brow lifts to my plastic colleagues. The more skills you have however, the more useful you can be for your patients. Best wishes Ric

@@Farinata2 Hi. I think you need to be able to examine inside the nose with the endoscope to offer a lacrimal service. I don't personally do any endoscopic brow procedures as I refer them to my plastic colleagues. Video is great, but you need to observe live surgery to have a better feel for the whole procedure. "Hands on" courses are even better. Ultimately - if you only have the videos, so long as your knowledge of anatomy is good, then you should be able to follow the instructions :). Best wishes. Ric

Hi doc. We consult a doctor and he said that it was a sebaceous cyst and it need to pump 3 days after. But, it almost a week ago it doesn't pump there are more redness, pain, and it become larger. What shall we do? Is sebaceous cyst cancerous?

Hi Jhem. A sebaceous cyst is not cancerous, but if it is enlarging red and painful it may be infected. I'd go back to your doctor! Best wishes Ric
