Sébastien is so alert and stimulated with all his surroundings 😊 oh, how nice for him to be with such a wonderful and beautiful mom and dad. It's evident that he is loved greatly by all the family members too. I worked with people that had swallowing issues Stephenie, there's a thickener you can buy and make his water, juice etc a texture that is not too thin, but thick enough for him not to choke. It's in any pharmacy. Glad to follow your adventures ❤ love this little guy

First,,you both look lean and mean! The last shot of you in the white...gorgeous ♡ Second, i love the little moments with just Grandma and Sebastian...or the Grandparents together with him. Thirdly,,i honestly think the nonstop stimulation during vacation has been therapeutic for Sebastián. him trying new stuff and being big and brave about it kinda made me feel like school is gonna be such a good thing. Hard af for mama and daddy...but AWESOME for Bogey. Lastly, it was so nice to hear your beautiful singing voice again. I don't know that this has anything to do with it but the warmer temps could be helping with pain in comparison to the colder temps at home. If he isn't as stiff and in pain it would be easier for him to think straight. I know when I'm in pain my ability to think goes to hell 😆

Thank you for taking us on vacation with you! I think after that last heart surgery Sebastian just continues to make progress. He's getting so big, eating so many things, and now drinking! I guess when you're at home, you're really in your comfort zone, and you perhaps are just in your stride and are used to Sebastians likes and what he can cope with. It's not until you have to do something out of necessity that you give it a 2nd thought. Perhaps now you have started with a bit of liquid from the syringe, it's something you could continue back home. He's an incredible little boy. Since his heart op he's active, he's learning, he's eating like a body builder and communicating. It would seem that drinking is the next thing he wants to master. I have a disabled nephew. When he was born with brain stem was not connected to his brain. He had 3 brain surgeries before he was a month old. He is so smart too.. They know more than we think they do..

Omg. How amazing. He has done a phenomenal job on vacation. Granted we are seeing clips, but he looks so relaxed and so content. I always knew he was smart. But it's true since his heart surgery he is like totally different. He is just too cute. I love seeing him experience new things. But it's so nice to see Steph smile and her eyes lit up so much and the thrill of Gio voice when talking about Sebastian. You guys are making memories and glad we get to share them also. Holy moly, steph! You really belted out that karaoke tune! Girl, you can sing so well! Wowee! ( : You looked sooo beautiful snd happy thid trip and Gio was so happy and handsome and looked do happy too! Sebastian was, of course, his adorable self as well! He is growing so fast all the sudden, physically and mentally, by leaps and bounds! It is so exciting to see! ( : He is definitely communicating with you guys, now! I think you are going to see huge growth from him now! He seems to have matured overnight to a whole new level and is suddenly sble to let you guys know what he is thinking and I'm is able to communicate so you understand he knows what you are saying! This is sooo exciting and cool! ( : Enjoy ever second! 😍😍😍 Plus, he is able to drink liquids now?! Wow! His response when he drank that sweet/sour orange drink was over the top joy and sensation! He alnost popped a cork over that delicious drink! Lol! The taste, texture, coolness, all blew his little taste buds to the moon and back! Wow! I have never seen him respond so dramatically to anything he had eaten! He was like he got zinged with happiness over the new feeling, taste sensation of it! Wow! That was sooo exciting to see! ( : Yesss! ( : I agree. Thid trip opened doors in Sebastian's brain and senses like nothing else! I think if he keeps getting exposed to new wonderful things, you eill see an explosion if growth in him! Just think of all the places you all can go now! Yayyyyyyy! I’ve noticed a change in him too! I feel like we all kind of do this as parents. We want to shelter them or we assume we know what they will like and not like or want and not want and it’s just out of love for them! I remember the first time my son tasted lettuce he threw up so I just never got lettuce for him again and told him he didn’t like it and come to find out, he’s 18 & he does! 😂

I wonder if his ear issue was holding him back with liquids. I love seeing him grow both physically and emotionally. And I absolutely know that boy is so smart! Maybe think about an iPad with the eye movements as his guide. My niece has Rhett syndrome and is non verbal but that iPad gave her and her parents a way to communicate it’s just amazing.

You have been there with Sebastian 24/7 since he was born.
