Amazing from Korda. The only man to have a match point vs Djokovic this year so far. Djokovic is also the only man to beat Korda in a completed match this year so far through 2 tournaments. But I really hope to see Medvedev get his confidence back. Really needs it. Has not been the same since blowing the 2 set lead in the 2022 AO final. Was 2 points from beating Novak in Astana, lost. Served for the match vs Novak at the ATP Finals. Again Medvedev couldnt close it out and lost. Really hope he can regain the confidence that brought him many Masters titles and the USO 2021 title.

@@justdev8965 Medvedev didnt hold MP but was serving for the match. Medvedev's mental strength and confidence is sadly not what it was in 2021.

@@mike_404 Well as I said I was really hoping Medvedev could turn things around, and he most certainly has turned things around. After this loss to Korda his results have been outstanding, and he also won his first clay court title! Rotterdam: Champion Doha: Champion Dubai: Champion (without losing a set all tournament. Beat Djokovic in the semis, ending Novaks 20 match win streak) Indian Wells: runner up (vs Alcaraz) Miami: Champion Monte Carlo: QF loss to Rune Madrid: R16 loss to Karatsev, whos beaten Medvedev and Djokovic on clay before Rome: Champion (vs Rune, who beat Djokovic 4 days prior) Safe to say he has rediscovered his best form again which is awesome to see.

If you saw his press conference after that match, he even admitted to having changed his overall mentality towards the game (the dreaming kid) I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just pointing out things could've been even better for him, hadn't he lost that match to Nadal.
