Sorry to comment this so late, and yes, I agree. But it depicts a toxic relationship without glorifying it. Also, am I the only one who felt bad for Sebastian? He clearly needed help and support that he never got, and had he received it (I blame his father) nothing would have happened to him or Maja or anyone else.

Do you guys think that even after everything Sebastian put her through, Maja still loved him in his final moments? I think so, but I find that legitimately insane that she still brought his body closer to her and cradled his head as he died. Sebastian was poisoned by his father mentally, and therefore poisoned Maja as well. Their love was so pure in the beginning! I hate how it turned out.

I kinda do too... I try to understand why he acted the way he did but his actions towards the ends are just in no way to be justified. He carried his package, I think what he’s been through just hit home too hard for me and that’s why it just makes me so sad that it had to get to this. Which is what I wanted to portray in this video. And yeah, I suppose you’re right. They have always been toxic but they didn’t start as bed as it went at the end, if you know what I mean.

The scene where she's holding him in the fetal position keeps breaking my heart. That scene was easily one of my most sympathetic moments towards him. He's done so many awful things, but he truly was damaged. He loved Maja, but she wasn't enough to save him and to see that as a partner. I know when my bf is sad or upset my world feels like it's crashing, I want to do whatever I can to make him happy because it kills me to see him in pain. I can see why she stayed, she knew she was all he had. This should series wreaked havoc on my emotions. I felt bad for every single character (except maybe claes).

Such a good series especially showing how sometimes you need to leave even if the other person isn’t healthy. What I wonder is how on earth would Maja grieve once back home?? I watched the series after i watched your video and i end that in 5h. What can i say after that...i thought a lot after the final episode and there were a few tears. Quicksand is showing the side of a relationship which is heartbreaking. Sebastian loved Maya and Maya loved him too (but just at the beginning, because she really realized that Sebastian had problems with himself). Also her "friends" were not the best...because everyone told her that she needs to help him. For e.g. when Maya told Amanda that she isn't sure if she is in love with him anymore. But she didn't listen. She just said that he needs her and she will stand by her. I guess Maya felt a big pressure on her shoulders because she thought he needs to protect him but as you can see you can't help somebody if they have such problems. You can try but with 80% you will get to dragged down too because the people will cost you so much energy and perhaps your life. You are not able to feel free. (Best example really...)

I’m honored my video made you want to watch the show! I see what you said here the same way - they both loved each other and I didn’t doubt that for a second and perhaps they needed each other too, Sebastian more than Maja. And I love that she wanted to try, she really did but while she was doing so she drowned too. And I’m sorry that at some point she just felt like she HAD to be with him because he needs her and without her, he might do something stupid. And her family and friends didn’t help with that, no. As you said about Amanda (and I REALLY loved Amanda), her parents also pushed her into it because Sebastian comes from a rich house and they thought this would be the best for their daughter so they never cared to ask if she is okay because to them, she had to make it work.

I really think that the adults in this world really let Maja down. So many adults just looked the other way and gave Maja the responsibility of fixing Sebastian. It's so obvious from when Maja asks her mother "Why do you never ask about anything important?".

What a beautiful vídeo. It highlights the amazing cinematography of the show and the effects made it even better. This show is great and deserved to be more popular. Sebastian is made of what his father made him be. A monster that had all physical stuff he wanted. All material things. But he missed the necessary things to build a good, well-hearted human being. He doesn't has the empathy and caring qualities that a truly loving partner has. He ended up creating a hudge demage on Maja. The scene where he beats her up and pushes her on the bed was really horrible, triggering and keept my scared eyes on screen. Maja deserved better than Sebastian and Samir. 💔

I think that I'm the only one who feel this way about it, and wish so hard that it didn't end this way with Sebastian. I really wish he didn't do what he did. It was horrible and everything, and I don't want to justify his actions because I have no words. But he was a broken boy. His head was destroyed by his father. It will never justify his actions, NEVER, but I really wish he'd let Maja save him, so badly... It hurts me so much that their relationship ended this way. It was so amazing at first, and I'm a little angry because it turned the way it did... I wish he got help, he even tried to kill himself and succeded in the end ... This video and the comments are insane…he was a rapist and a mass murderer. He did not love her, he hurt her in every possible way and broke her down mentally and physically. On purpose, in order to control her. The abuse from his father is not an excuse. It does not justify his behaviour, at all. At first their love was great, like a fairytale. Something we hear or see or read, but that's just it. It's fake. And it's always "to good to be true". Their love was great and romantic at first but then it just stared to go down hill. It became so toxic and bad so quick. It's sad. They both deserve better but especially Maja.
