His mother had a grandfather who lost a leg at antietam because some rich kid paid the$300 to have a 37 year old to go into the civil war for him. I met him, his wife and DeNiro at an award show once and they were all super nice. I mainly talked to DeNiro but I was curious as to who he was since I was unfamiliar with his work. I looked him up shortly after and found his comedy skits and he had me on the floor laughing! He’s now my favorite comedian. So happy to see him get all this success. So well deserved.
