Fisher was a player rep for the NBPA then a member of the union by being elected. Billy Hunter asked the union for Fisher resignation because Fisher was working with nba commissioner David Stern for the players to get a lower percentage of revenues. Fisher said it was a rumor and denied it. Instead the union voted Hunter out. Hunter then sues Fisher.
