If you stay.” ― Gayle Forman, If I Stay Idk, but think they should have been faithful to the book or at least used that whole line. Because it was what really broke me- when Adam would do literally anything and everything to not lose Mia like that. The other was when he was begging Mia to not make him right a song about/for her. The book was, as always, better. But the movie exceeds expectations.

ive never read the book and never seen the whole movie but from the scene with the grandpa and this one i have a feeling that her father is the one that sent her back. he wanted nothing more than to be a good father to her. he quit his band, sold his drums all for her for the cello. i wholeheartedly believe that he was the one that sent her back because she has a life to live. she has a chance still to grow and have a family and be a great mom. thats what im telling myself. period!
