this lecture series is incredible Sebastian-thanks for putting it on KZbin, sharing the code, and making it modern and practical with Pytorch. I went to UW 15 years ago, it would have been so nice if my math, cs, and stats professors would've done this stuff

Why are there 24 letters for character embedding (15:15)? Shouldn't it be 26 (considering only lowercase)? Or am I missing something?

Hah, for some reason I thought there are only 24 letters ... But you are right of course, should have been 26
