I read Pearson Managerial economics and strategies chap 1-3. Sir you are doing a great job explaining. I need to review some calculus and Excel. I am able to follow you and you are clear.

I like your videos on the managerial economics courses. However, I never learned or was exposed to calculus or the functions of derivatives and partial derivatives. I can follow the steps in your videos, but not grasping the wisdom found in each function. I felt it necessary to drop out of a managerial economics course because of this issue. I can get through most of the economic principles on markets and structures, but the math is a problem. Please advise what steps to take to master the math found in this course. I am a young 65 plus adult studying to get an MBA.

My only question is why is it when you multiply the top and bottom of Qbd/10 you don't do the same to everything else (e.g. 90) I thought you couldn't change one part of the equation without doing the same to the other variables (e.g. the stuff the other side) at around 07:50

All I did there is rewrite that particular fraction. Multiplying both the top and the bottom doesn't actually change the equation, it just makes it easier to see how to combine terms.

Sir how did u find 90 on the P line?
@sebastianwaiecon Жыл бұрын
90 is the price that drops quantity demanded to zero. See this video for the calculation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ2op5euj9l9rJI&ab_channel=SebastianWaiEcon

why didn't you draw the supply curve from 0?

I explained how to draw this supply curve in a previous video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnewYaWneJukb7c&ab_channel=SebastianWaiEcon
