도영 완전 학교영어라서 듣고 쓰는 건 나랑 비슷할 텐데 말하는 건 확실히 차이남.. 일부러 발음을 굴리려고 하지 않고 딱 알아들을 수 있는 발음으로 꾸준히 직접 말해보려고 노력하는 게 보여서 닮고 싶음.. 나에게 부족한게 그 꾸준함이야..

청소년기때부터 중국인멤버, 한국 멤버, 혼혈이지만 한국어가 편한 멤버, 혼혈은 아니지만 문화나 언어가 영어권이 편한 멤버, 팝송 좋아하는 한국멤버, 한국 가요를 좋아하는 멤버가 섞여 자연스레 서로의 문화와 언어를 존중하는게 보이더라구요! 중국어를 따라 배우기도 하고 덕분에 다른 언어를 뱉는걸 두려워 하지 않고요.. 슈아나 버논이나 준이나 에잇이나 다 다른 문화권의 사람들이지만 심성이 착하고 한국인 멤버도 그게 너무나 당연해서 너무 잘 수용하는게 영어권 문화에서 사는 저로서는 너무 대단하고 가장 바람직한 공동체의 모습이 아닐까 싶더라고요!

NCT has many English speakers like Mark is from Canada, Johnny is from Chicago, USA. Ten is from Thailand and Yangyang from Germany, Chenle from China, all three of them are fluent. Taeyong started learning English, he had some knowledge from before but from 2018 he started working on it and now he does vlives in English. He has become really good so we have him on the English squad as well. Also Jaehyun has lived on America for 4 years that's why he's also fluent.

Hoshi's accent when speaking English is coming along so nicely! Mingyu and Seungkwan would be the two members (apart from Josh and Vernon, of course) who speak the best English though... they even did an interview where the interviewers only spoke in English and you could see Mingyu and Seungkwan following along with most of the conversation! Super impressive! The interview is on KZbin on the channel FO Squad Kpop, titled 'Hanging out with SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) | Chaotic!'

Don’t forget the Chinese learning episode with chenle and renjun! Doyoung always puts so much effort and is passionate about learning languages I love him. Also fun fact he started seriously studying Japanese bc yuta said he felt lonely as the only Japanese member in nct ☹️ (before shotaro was added)

Ncts learning English like a hardworking book-smart students while Seventeen like street smart students. The neos implement whatever they have learnt and trying to understand each conversation better in details while Seventeen just go with whatever vocabs they have at the tip of their tongue confidently. Seventeen's members are always very patient with each other, even their Chinese members also had been teaching them very gently and patiently. Their toleration, endurance and understanding is very amazing. Anyway Joshua's English deserves to be used as recording for fairytale story teller. It is so soothing and attractive like how can this man talk like that. 😭😭

127 in general is improving English these days, In their lemonade stand content, Yuta is also doing very well his best. And Dream is now really fluent in Chinese and Sungchan is improving Japanese.

Hoshi is improving he’s doing great and I’m so proud of him! But Hoshi and Jeonghan are known for working hard on the team’s Japanese not English. After Joshua and Vernon (who are both fluent may I add, Vernon is not learning English he grew up speaking it with his mother) the member who is working hard on English and showing huge improvement is Mingyu, he can speak so well and is always joking in English with the English speaking members, I don’t think using Hoshi as the example was a very fair bc after the English speaking members Mingyu is the member known to be semi-fluent.

엔시티의 팬이긴 하지만 저런 얼굴의 선생님이라면 마크도 쟈니도 조슈아도 다 좋네요.....ㅎㅎ 엔시티 덕질하다보면 한국인이든 외국인이든 모든멤버들이 한국어든 영어든 중국어든 일본어든 일단 계속해서 서로에게 물어보며 배우고 일단 뱉어보기도 하고 그냥 멤버들이랑 대화하면서 언어를 공부하기도 하고 틀린문장을 말해도 서로서로 괜찮다고 격려해주면서 언어실력들을 늘려가는게 멋있기도하고 그런친구가 있다는게 부럽기도 하더라구요 그래서 엔시티에 자연스럽게 대화체로 다양한 언어를 구사할줄아는 멤버들이 많은가봐요 그리고 귀여운게 이렇게 멤버들끼리 대화하면서 언어를 배워서 그런가 서로 말투를 따라가더라구요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ멤버의 말투까지 따라갈정도로 서로 보고 따라해서 자연스럽게 외국어를 구사하나봐요

Vernon isn't learning English from Joshua XD. He can speak English himself. His mother is American and he has been speaking English since he was a kid. He teaches the members a lot too. Joshua and Vernon usually talk to each-other using a mix or Korean and English as the only two English speaking members of the group and that's why when Vernon asked in Korean, Joshua replied in English.

Hoshi and other members are learning english and I get happy listening to them..i find mingyu's eng also good. WOOZI recently even wrote a whole song in english( RUBY pls check it out) And joshua...I mean this guy's way of talking in any language is music to ears..inside fandom we say that he talks in cursive ❤️😂

Seventeen are very patient with each other...during their English interviews shua nd vernon patiently explain the questions to the members nd hrlp them answer the question themselves... It helps the members improve a lot...like the way the chinese members have improved so much in Korean now nd even how during hoshi's award acceptance speech when he got stuck in Japanese the jeonghan nd the others helped him complete the speech not rushing him nd patiently encouraging him

8:10 if I understood this right, I agree with him. I love it when SVT speaks in English especially Hoshi. Their Korean accent cannot be heard much when they speak in English. And yes, Joshua and Vernon were so patient with the members whenever they try to speak the language. He encourages them and they don't make fun of them. They also give compliments to the members and help them practice too just like when they're in other countries, they let other members to order their food.

I remember I was so shy to speak english with people. I'm from Rio which is a very touristy city and if someone came to me asking anything in English I'd say "sorry, I don't speak it". One day I decided I wouldn't do that anymore and it was the best decision ever. After that I started to be more confident with my english and even when I made any mistake I was fine with that and learned from it also. I guess this video is a great example. Doesn't matter how's your level, just try speaking it and you'll start improving

In NCT 127, Jaehyun is also fluent in English since "I lived in America for 4 years thats why I'm here". Taeyong can properly carry a conversation in English (he does it during his IG lives). The rest of them have good intonation and pronounciation. They also have contents in English. And of course, their English songs are top tier!!!

aside from hoshi, mingyu is also a very passionate english learner. during a trip to LA the members even said it's fine without joshua or vernon because they have mingyu. he's not fluent yet but very confident in his english

So in NCT basically everyone understands English to some degree and can hold basic conversation. 127 and WayV being the most fluent followed by Dream. 127 being the studious and curious type makes them have a wide vocabulary, high level of comprehension and an awareness for grammar while WayV have an edge for being a very multilingual group to the core makes it easier for them to practice and learn. It's so interesting whenever we hear them switch languages in the middle of a conversation. Recently, I'm most impressed by Jaehyun bc he wrote the lyrics to his first solo song for NCT 127's concert completely in English which is not his first language and he did it so well!

I think if we're talking about Seventeen's English speaker, you can't not talk about Vernon 🤣 Joshua and Vernon are two sides of one coin, Joshua handles the more formal sounding English, and Vernon's is more laid back and slang-y

엔시티 컨텐츠에서 가끔 마크랑 쟈니만 나오는 영상은 주로 영어로 이루어져 있어서 자막과 같이 영어를 듣고 보게 되고 내가 좋아하는 가수를 보면서 재밌게 시청하다보니까 이게 자연스러운 재밌는 공부가 될때도 있더라구요 :) 뭐든 공부 = 즐거운 것 이렇게 생각하면 더 쉽게 다가오고 받아들이기 쉬운거 같아요 예전에는 그냥 어렵다 영어는 두렵다였는데 지금은 오히려 배우고싶어졌어요

At seventeen, Shua is my favorite . I watched a lot of their English interviews; not all, but I think most of their English interviews, and I noticed that what makes Shua attractive when he speaks English is his accent.His accent was like music to my ears, but he used repetitive words such as "like" and "yeah" (if you noticed it) to the point where it was annoying. I got to know NCT Mark on "Ask Us Anything" when SuperM was their guest, and honestly, I was moved when he answered the questions about the concept of their album. His choice of words is great. He's eloquent. The way he answers questions is so satisfying. Don't get me wrong, but I prefer NCT Mark as my English teacher, not a Nctzen tho. 😊😊 No hard feelings just my opinion 😊😊😊

Saying "like" and "yeah" is actually very common, especially in LA where Joshua is from!! Mark actually says "like" a lot as well though haha

Hello@@Stillonelymp3 I'm not a fan of seventeen or NCT, but Joshua was my favorite in seventeen. I don't think NCT members are faking their accents, and we know that all of us have different accents. If someone has the same accent, it's because of who taught them how to speak English or how to pronounce the words. Mark and Johnny were the so-called English parents of the NCT. Perhaps this is why the NCT members sound like they have fake accents because they mimic Mark and Johnny's pronunciation of the words.There's no fake accent after all. 😊😊😊 Jusr saying 😊✌
