at 24:00, the answer to the question should be 45. Expl: Since initial margin is 40% which means he invested Rs 24/- out of his pocket and rest i.e Rs 36/- as advance. So when the price of stock falls down to Rs 45/-, his own investment will fall from 24/- to Rs 9/- and advance will stay intact at Rs 36/-. As we can observe that his own investment now i.e. Rs 9/- is 20%(maintenance margin) of Rs 45/-.

Sir, Q29, they specifically mentioned that total number of shares are 1000 only. How can this be possible that a shareholder is holding almost 99% shares of the company. That means he has most of the control. SEBI never allows such provision where a shareholder can take ownership of almost 99% shares and just leaving 1 % for others. As per my knowledge, this should be an illegal association. Rest you know better.
