This is only recommendation. If committee is setup on alchohol consumption and the associate health risk, They definitely suggest to ban it. Can government really ban it ?

If Sebi puts up the new rule, people will move to apps live Dream11, Dabba trading and crypto trading apps. Also brokers will be impacted heavily along with the exchange. Most retail trades might be small but they do keep a little bit of equity. Sebi rules also makes the markets only for the rich and not for everyone.

By this logic government should ban engineering colleges too because how many of the students actually get a job after completing engineering? Many people fail to get the job Ban competitive exams too like UPSC where the success rate is less than 1% which is even lower success rate than the stock market.

At least for engineering people know that they have to wait 4 years to complete the degree and takes years to establish a career but in trading people want to make profit from day one

​@@SquareOff The root cause is lack of investor education which SEBI should address. Traders have unrealistic expectations because they are uneducated with regards to the market. SEBI could work on implementing a course on derivatives trading which all traders should pass before enabling F&O trading for themselves. It is not a fair game if profitable traders get affected with such drastic changes like 30L margin for 1 lot.

Decisions based on this unreliable data wont give broader picture of the market...... Also earlier no one suggested them to reduce the lot size... Prior to 2020 bank nifty lot size is 40 and we never experienced such noise....

3 Solutions to improve the %age of people who make money in FNO. 1. A Complicated exam to have FNO activated in Demat account, renew every 5 Years. 2. Every 3 Consecutive Stop-loss trades, Demat account will be blocked for 15 Days. Go back do homework’s then come back to trade FNO. 3. It’s Mandatory to all the trading academies to train students in Live Markets Session from Monday to Friday 09AM-3:30PM. Since Mind Mgmt & Risk Mgmt is where traders fail.

For over decade they are having data for alcohol consumption and discussing about regulating and banning and nothing happened because they don't want to stop govt revenue. If they bring this rule Brokers, SEBI, BSE and Govt revenue will impact and they care these revenue more than poor people savings so they won't change these

People probably wouldn't mind the increase in lot size as most traders trade more than 4 lots . But only one expiry might have a big impact on the market.

Not much of an issue with index options. But, doing cash secured puts and covered calls will be difficult. 30L on 1 stock for a single covered call or cash secured put is very high.

ATM strike during expiry at 2-30 pm is very less, so lot of options buyers will come and spikes will be there causing huge loss to option sellers, what sebi will do regarding this, will it increase margin on expiry day every hour, I think sebi should think about hero zero trades also that too on expiry days.

Agree I have raised this few times with the team. Found that the Baskets are having deviation due to the SL being hit for some while others it does not. Issue being the entry premium can be way different . I have raised this with the team to bring in the consistency as other platforms I have noticed such as the quantiply/stoxxo where strangle with re-entry, re-cost dont have such major variations. However I still like the new changes the team is doing and they have been improving . Also the new basket inputs for trade are good. I have been doing it for last two weeks now.
