Bhai , brokers crore of rs ka fund exchange ko deposit deke rakhte hai. Client se zero brokerage lete hai ya 20 rs lete hai. Jo ekdam normal brokerage hai. Aab exchange unko discount de ya n de ye public ka look out nahi. Paisa laga rahe hai to paisa kamane k liye hi invest kar rahe hai aur isme burai kaya hai.

Don't you think this rule may have repulsive effect on retailers pocket ?? Discount broking houses can pass these charges to retailers and may be able to keep their margin. Though I think it will be able to create an equal playground for all the brokers, but I don't think this can be treated as a measure to decrease option trading; ultimately it is always about one's will, no one is being forced to participate.
