It’s funny because Blake was nervous about recording this song, afraid it might be perceived as too cheesy, but the people spoke! We LOVED his brand of Cheese…. I’ve seen that man live 3 times, he’s as good live as his recordings and he’s hilarious. There are so many awesome Blake song for you to check out…

After all of these years - after ALL of the amazing songs Blake has - this is STILL my top favourite. Now that you've checked out Austin - you need to keep going down the line with Ole Red (official video is a MUST) - and The Baby.

This is the song that made me a country fan. I went to see a movie in the movie theater years ago, and before the previews started they had music playing in the theater. This song came on and I was captivated by it. As soon as I got home I got on my computer and googled the song to find out what it was called and who sang it. (This was before we all had smart phones in our pocket). My love for this song led me into checking out other country music and falling in love with the genre.

If you're into gospel music at all, Blake's In My Savior's Shadow is the one that always makes me cry and brought my sister great comfort when she was terminally ill. On the lighter side, one of his earliest - Old Red- always makes me smile.

This is an old song and one of the first I ever heard from Blake. This is my MOST FAVORITE Blake Shelton song. I adore this song...'cause I am a total ROMANTIC. This may have been one of his first hits...not sure. He is currently married to Gwen Stefani the Pop Singer. Previously...Blake was married to Country Singer Miranda Lambert. They have both moved on with others.

I really do love Blake Shelton and he has some of the greatest songs out there but one night when I met him at a concert he was just one of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met. Blake Shelton actually loves his fans and appreciates them and doesn't act all high and mighty.

You said you should get to know more old people. The older I get (I'm67) the more I realize just how impactful our music was in the 60's & 70's. The absolute best thing that has happened to me in a while (and no, I'm not blowing smoke up your backside) has been watching you discover that. It has been a sheer pleasure to see you get your mind bent listening to the incredible music of my "Boomer" generation. I wanted to steer you toward a couple of the singer/songwriters who had an incredible impact on me personally. Jim Croce (keep the tissues handy), Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Carole King...the list is long (look up singer/songwriters). Even further back to the Greatest Generations music, check out Jerry Vale, Tony Bennett,. Then there's Crosby, Stills & Nash, Simon and Garfunkle...again, there were hundreds. Keep doing what you do. I'm a couch bound disabled vet, a widower with no kids (don't tell my cats) and you have given me hours of some much needed nostalgic joy. Thank you.

Blake can sing a mean classic rock song to! That's what he listened to growing up but when into country. He puts his own spin on country. He's also got Gern into country now and she's loving it and they been furtd to get her. They seemed like the off couple but they're really turning out to be a great couple in all of ways,,! He always wanted children but Miranda didn't at the time they were married and I think that was the deal breaker.Gwen had 3 boys when they got together and Blake had been an ex emotional step dad to them and loves them,
