Key points The seven trumpets of Revelation follow the pattern of the seven days of creation but they are the opposite in that they are what Satan is doing to undo God’s work of creation. (5:15 - 5:45) The abyss in Revelation 9 is Satans counterfeit upside down temple. (6:40 - 8:20) The locusts which come out of the abyss are false teachers sent by Satan, and false teaching can’t kill you but it does torture you. (9:30 - 13:01) What happens between the 5th and 6th trumpet is a picture of the Passover and the killing of a third of the human race is the those who are dying to self and being saved at the proclamation of God’s Word. “God’s is not about killing a third of the human beings on the planet God is about seeing human beings come to life to their death to self.” (27:30 - 32:00)
