Also, what if in the case if I purchased a land 40 years back and constructed a house on it 35 years back. How can I determine my cost of improvement.

Sir when we should calculate the capital gain in case we receive completion certificate for only 4th floor and not received for 5th floor?

Hi sir, I have one doubt sir, I have to file income tax return in ITR 2. There is capital gain in sell of house property for short term, but the property owned by two people. Sale of property reflected in both party ais and tis. I have taken 50 50 percentage for both party. But TDS for that capital gain available for one person only sir. If I claim that TDS defective notice came sir. Now I don't know what to do sir.

Owner has to pay tax u/s 45(5A). Daughter has no tax impact too

Sir we give a plot to developer in jda in 2019.we take physical position on March 2022 but without cc we sold our share 3 flat on aug 2022 full amount invested in one new flat. Will we save capital gain?

Hi Mr. Jose. It's nice session. Would like to know whether the flats at 4th and 5th floor which is my consideration can be claimed for exemption u/s. 54. My point is even if I receive my consideration in money from the developer, I have a plan of purchasing a flat. Instead making it as a separate purchase can I am accepting to receive my consideration in the form of a flat. Can I claim this flats at 4th and 5th floor in your explanation as exemption u/s. 54. Please clarify.
