The SEC can not pay players like the Big 10 can, the Big 10 has substantially larger markets and richer alumni bases along with more boosters, The Big 10 has a far more vast conference the B10 has Southern California market, New York market, even mid level markets in the B10 are substantially richer than mid levels in the SEC (Illinois Minnesota Wisconsin etc) if the SEC wants to beat the B10 money isn’t gonna work because the B10 makes more has a bigger market and richer alumni

@ Not as much at any level lol, the top tier of spenders in the SEC will never be higher than the top level of the B10, even then looking at the mid level teams the B10 wipes the floor with them, there is a reason the B10 makes more money they are in a bigger market, the South East can care about as football as much as they want but Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas and Alabama aren’t going to compete with Ohio, California, Michigan, New York, Minnesota, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania etc, The SEC has two major markets which they have territory in being Florida and Texas, the issue is they are so incredibly over saturated that yeah your the biggest schools in those markets but you have constant competition, Florida has Miami FSU and UCF and Texas has TCU Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston all competing at the P4, The SEC also has substantially worse academic schools and poorer alumni which means you can’t pay the players with your boosters because the boosters don’t have money to give, The SEC physically can not compete in the modern market when compared to the B10 they will get blown out financially

Ohio State has found the formula to win the next three national championships. They put forth less than optimum effort and plays until they had to in the end. They figured out the long season and holding something back, so you’re healthy and have tricks that haven’t been seen.

This idea that you have to have 15 years of dominance to be the best conference in a single season is some of the most illogical nonsense I have ever heard. Do you guys in the south understand past, present, and future? Nobody is doubting the SEC was the best conference 5, 10 or 15 years ago. We are saying this now, and a 1-5 record against the B1G in the postseason kind of makes it seem like currently the SEC has taken a back seat. It could be a two year blip on the radar and the SEC rises right back up. Just be realistic and logical, pretty much everything else I heard in this video was.

I mean it’s ok to cheer for your conference but to have an entire KZbin channel:/podcast and then argue about being the best conference is silly. Bc now you have to take two losses. 1. NIL equalized everything. Everyone else is coming up to SEC levels while the SEC slid just a bit. I've said it many times that NIL leveling the field will hit the top teams and top conferences the hardest. 2. This will ruffle a few feathers on all sides. tOSU is an SEC Style team who happens to be in the BIG. They dont play BIG style football and haven't played BIG style football since 2005 /2006. So in a way SEC is still Dominant.
