The problem right now is the “teams only” focus. If the SEC is measured to be a better conference than the Big Ten, then bids should be allocated accordingly. The part a lot of SEC fans won’t like is that a measurement that serves the SEC against the Big Ten very well might help the ACC and Big 12 against both.

No reason a team should pay more conference opponents. SEC should schedule 8 G5 opponents, an FCS team, and 3 conferences games. guarantee that 10 win season every year
