It is all good! If I was more aggressive maybe I could pass, but being old it takes a lot of you to crash and get going again! See you guys on the 9th.

Is there a reason sometimes you do that "woo woo woo" when you pass and other times you don't? I don't know the rules of hare scrambles but would like to try some soon.

It is just a customary kind of thing. If I am coming up on a rider that seems to be lots slower, we will give them a "woo-Woo". If the rider is maybe slower but you have to work to get by, then that is just racing. If you are behind a slower rider and they are holding you up, they get a "woo-woo" to let us by. Some guys come up behind and give you a "rev limiter" notice. That is just obnoxious to me. I will from time to time give a little rev to let a rider know i am coming, but never a limiter rev. @@alchrisr01 First, I greatly appreciate the lengthy/informed reply! That seems to make more sense now that if you are "racing", that is different than a slow rider getting the "woo woo" (I can't even type that without laughing! ) I've been subbed and always hit "like". I've watched a ton of your racing vids, I usually have it playing as I'm searching for parts for my new SX-F 350. Last question....do things ever get testy when someone makes a legit pass (not blatantly running someone into a tree LOL) and the other rider falls. Ever have someone really mad at you? I imagine tempers do flare as we are (I'm 54) old cranky men and it's a competition.

I have crashed a rider or two (unfortunately) while passing and have been crashed too. I Don't think anybody does it on purpose, it just happens sometimes. I have never been really PO'ed at another rider and hope that goes both ways! LOL. Younger guys may take this more seriously than we do. After all, we are just racing for a cheap trophy and a little bragging rights. Thanks

@@alchrisr01 Well it's good to hear that most are just having fun and not so serious. Sometimes I'll see you pass and kinda knock someone out of the way and I'm thinking..."I wonder if that dude is pissed"...LMAO

@@brutus6328 LOL! I never want to crash somebody. On video it may look closer than it really is. My grandsons say I am not aggressive enough, like them!! HAAAAA!
