Second Briton Killed In Ukraine, Fire At Azot Plant, Russia's Kalibr Missiles 'Destroy' Western Arms

Russia says its forces used Kalibr cruise missiles to destroy a large depot with US and European weapons in Ukraine’s Ternopil region. "Non-stop" Russian shelling allegedly caused a huge fire at Severodonetsk’s Azot chemical plant, where 800 civilians are taking shelter. Russian military reportedly shot down 2 MIG-29 planes in the Mykolaiv region and 3 SU-25 fighter jets near Donetsk and Kharkiv.
Meanwhile, Russia's foreign ministry has said that Moscow's response to a build up of NATO forces in Poland will be "proportionate". Germany has reportedly blocked Spain from sending dozens of Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine

Please. The Theater in Mariupol was 100% civilians. I am sure the Ukraine army takes refuge in structures that have had civilians but to comingle is not their strategy or doctrine. Russia's strategy is however to level everything they can and kill anyone they believe against their cause. Imagine if the US did that in Afghanistan ? That country would be a ghost town right now. Russia does not care. Look at Grozny after the 2nd war and Aleppo in Syria. Russia's strategy is to level every thing in site and occupy. They will ship a new population into town shortly after they rebuild with Russian passports.

There is no way Russia know what kind of weaponry that is in what ever building that they may hit. The other day Russia were bragging about hitting a tank and armored vehicle storage facility, destroying everything. it turned out to be some empty civilian building and it was blown up in a way so that there were no exits left or possible, so if there had been any destroyed tanks there, they would have been impossible to remove from the building, but it still turned out to be totally empty when the Western journalists visited the place.

NATO had been expanding towards Russia and Putin had been very uncomfortable. Imagine Alaska decide to rejoin Russia and Canada apply to join a defence alliance that comprise Alaska, China and Russia. Will USA not do anything and let the alliance take place? Nothing like a bit of tough German discipline and control. Typical Latin cultures are too caring and compassionate,due to Catholicism's cultural influence on their their thinking ie they simply don't think,just typically respond emotionally and too fast to scenarios presenting, instead of questioning what is going on and whether they really should or should not be sending more aid. They need some more rational level, cool headed Germanic types to correct their thinking. Also, if you are part of a group that has agreed on a certain course of action, eg send or not send more weapons, I think the right thing to do is to work as part of the team, not just go off on a limb, doing to our own individualistic thing. Latin style indivuduality individuality can be a great quality for some situations but not in matters relating to armies, military stuff etc. And the Germans would know a thing or two about things military, having been involv d in so much military stuff in their history as both victors and vanquished. So it might be a good idea to respect them and listen to what they have to say on such matters and work as part of a team, instead of going off on a tangent. A team succeeds not only because it has strong,plus, smart, experienced leaders who really do know their stuff eg military matters, like Germans do. A team can only succeed in its mission if its members are prepared to simply be $just supportive members" and not seek to dominate ie rival the leader or break away and do their own individual thing without first seeking the opinions of the leadership and other team players. A team where everybody thinks they should be in share or where some just do their own thing, ignoring the leader and other team members is not a team at all. Just some rag tag sort of loose "association". Like most modern Australian work place teams are these days,especially ones involving large numbers of women, millennials and now migrants and refugees, too, who are getting very bold, tutored by feminists they emulate in such matters.

For the life of me I can't understand why people underestimate Russian military and intelligence capabilities. Even if they had these economy issues post Soviet era they are still better than every other country on earth in a 1v1 war including USA if it's an invasion on their land. They depend on the west for military aid etc. But there is no such thing as a free lunch,like we all know. So this makes these break away Communist states a serious security risk to the main Communist central control, in Moscow. The west will eventually demand something in return for all this help they are giving eg permission to build western military bases closer to Moscow to "watch" these Communist regimes more closely, using computer spying technology etc. They become a perceived threat to these Communist rulers because the western powers are getting too close for comfort . And so they must act w ith military displays of force to bring dissident states, like Ukraine back into line, toeing the Communist line. My guess is Poland will also be severely disciplined, too.
