This story is like my husband's and I's. He moved to Switzerland and I got into grad school, we broke up the relationship because there was no way we were going to do long-distance in a different continent. For 3 years he did his thing and I did mine, we dated different people and reconnected when he moved back to the US. We have now been married for 2 years!

Hell yea man that what i like to hear me and my bf wasn’t so lucky we never really went out on a date but i lived in Kentucky he in Arkansas when we first met we call and text every second of the day then out of the blue he said he was busy and never would call me and never pick up his phone when i called and i understood some time because of his conservative parents but it got to the point where i wasn’t hearing from him at all hell we technically never even told each other we broke up witch is where it ended so i am so glad to hear a story like this

I joined the Navy. Started dating a girl i met once in high school over the phone. Never had a date in person before i moved to Japan. Made her my gf a week into living there. We worked for 10 months then it got really hard. I became unfaithful. We broke up. I wanted to stay broken up but she insisted on making things work. We stayed together until i got out of the military and returned home. Visited each others cities taking turns for the summer then i moved to her city. We worked for 7 months and then broke up because i was overcome with guilt for being unfaithful and was scared it wouldnt work down the line. Personally i just believe if you love someone you dont cheat on them PERIOD. Although our relationship started unorthodox, i still didnt want to make excuses. I just felt like we should start over as friends just so i could make sure the feelings were pure and i knew what i wanted.
