Responding to this years later. I would totally agree. I just graduated college a year ago and still go out periodically and man the men who try to bring drunk women home are so creepy. I think this guys method is fine, especially cause he was honest and seemed like he wasn’t just trying to hook up and wanted to go on a nice date

I mean, it’s a little creepy. But it’s a lot more honest of a way than meeting someone off tinder or trying to go home with drunk girls from a bar. Like, at least this guy has the guts to meet people in person even if it’s a little weird. Like how else are you supposed to meet people other than these three ways? Like I know it happens but waiting around to meet somebody on a hike, at a park, at a skating rink, at an arcade, whatever it may be, seems pretty uncommon nowadays. This begs the question because they say never marry a girl you met at the bar never date a girl you met at the bar or something like that and honestly the type of girls that you meet at the bar it's 50/50 whether that's somebody that you actually are going to want to stay dealing with but if they're at the bar that's not usually a good sign

I suppose his approach could be better and literally go about it like people at bars. Go approach an attractive woman after she gets her coffee and sits down, then ask if you can buy her next coffee or muffin, etc. Either approach isn't really creepy, it's literally just an ice breaker to meet. Nothing inherently strange about that.
