Second Line for Equal Justice 2018 New Orleans

Big 6 Brass Band and TBC Brass Band playing in the front and back of the 3rd annual Second Line for Equal Justice on November 3, 2018. A majority of the signs were in support of Louisiana Amendment 2, to require unanimous juries for all felony convictions involving crimes that take place after 2018. A few days later, the voters of Louisiana approved a state constitutional amendment ending a Jim-Crow era law that has dominated the state’s legal system.
