That's a setting you can control. Just click the "cc" button in the lower right hand corner of the video, and then click "Turn Captions Off." Hope that helps! :)

thank you so much for this, but I might suggest that you say which video should be the next one, because I get lost when choosing which topic to cover after each video I watch. for example should I go here for the "second-order non homogeneous diff eq initial value" or " second-order non homogeneous diff" ? or I don't know if I should cover the 2nd order homogeneous first... u see what I mean? thanks again for your efforts :)

Excellent video, on par with PatrickJMT or KhanAcademy, maybe even better. I like how you go through every step, which is often glossed over. Even if I already know how to do the chain rule, I might not be 100% certain, so it helps to see it done and follow along.

Hey, whats the difference between when I am ask to "solve the initial value problem" and to "find the general solution"?
@kristakingmath11 жыл бұрын
Finding the general solution just means finding y(x) using the formula I put at the top of this video. When you find the general solution, your final answer will have the constants c_1 and c_2 in it. On the other hand, solving the initial problem is the same as finding the particular solution, and it means that you're plugging initial conditions into the general solution in order to solve for c_1 and c_2. In this case, your final answer won't contain c_1 and c_2 because you'll have solved for them. :)

Why is it that a tutor that is just as (possibly more) clear as patrickJMT or kahn is not nearly as well known even though these videos are better presented? further more, what is the correlation coefficient between gender and number of views? It would appear, much to my frustration, that this value is MASSIVE >:@
