Very few tractors have dominated quite like the Ford 7000 in the 1970's; an iconic tractor if ever there was one. It was designed and powered to use larger, more productive equipment. Forty years after its launch, Second Sight Productions have the films made by the Ford Film Unit at that time, complete and uncut. Along with the 7000 and the rest of the 6X range, we scrutinize the big Ford tractors including the 8600 and the mighty 9600 with its very impressive 145 horse power. All this, plus something slightly different -- the rugged New Holland 339 double-chop forage harvester, pulled of course, by the powerful Ford 7000.

We had one that struggled with a 4x16 plow.All it is is a 5000 with a turbocharger,if I remember right that would be around 75hp.

michael robinso plowing depends on the soil type, depth, texture, and field conditions. In the western US you can pull a 7 or 8 bottom easily with a 7000, and on the eastern side it's heavy clay, so a 9600 would pull a 5 or 6

In Italy with a very good 150hp u go with 2 bottom plow in medium soil 3 light soil and in the super hard soil 1! Here most used tractor are great fiat same new holland fendt jhon deere ford and some Landini ( when they were true Landini) they are beasts in 1950 👌 now ........ive fiat and ford too 👌 both very good machines!

What is dual power? how does it work, What happen when your step on the button

It's an under-drive. step on the button, and it shifts into a lower gear, or under-drive, step on the other button and it shifts back up into direct drive.
