@KennyB3323 It's ironic you said Man vs Kid..Dubois knocked out AJ in sparring..And he was even younger then..Dubois at 19-20 years old did AJ. Now Dubois is a grown man hes much better than he was. AJs only looking good because he fought c level fighters like Franklin, Helenius and Wallin and an mma fighter, and all of a sudden AJs is back..Not good enough..Fight someone in the top mix then we'll see if hes really back

Fury has just been in a great fight with Usyk which he lost on a split decision. Both fighters were bust up in the fight, with facial damage,so if you dislike Fury fair enough, but a fraud doesn't give Usyk such a hard fight.

Funny listening to Teddy saying that Dubois is the FULL package however needs to improve his defence. And you have Don Charles saying that defence is what he has developed the most with Daniel Dubois ?
@Boylo2492
@Boylo2492 2 ай бұрын
Saying someone is the full package doesn't mean they have no holes in their game, it means they have all the materials to be the finished article. Also Dubois has improved defensively under Don Charles. However he was still getting hit at will by Hrgovic. If that's AJ landing those rights, it wouldn't have cleared the 3rd round.

@@redblacktichy7713 his engine has always been poor. In this fight, imo he banked on peppering Dubois and making him quit. He threw too many power punches and ran out of gas imo. He needed to pace himself better. Throw different velocity of punches. Mix it up more, plus choose times to rest. He was piecing Dubois up but couldn't sustain it.

@wunwun8875 he also wasn't piecing Dubois up at any point. He was landing right hands that never deterred Dubois or bothered him. He kept marching forward and used stamina as a weapon against Hrgovic. Clear gameplan and it worked.

I think he has been rushed a bit but also suffered from a lack of depth for young fighters to build. Same fast track worked for AJ to a point but you can’t go back and learn after the fact by the time you’re fighting twice a year. The AJ fight is too soon for him I think but I don’t know who else you put him in with that is worth the risk.

You sound like a hater Dubois was the underdog in that fight. Everyone had miller as the favorite. And in his latest fight I had Dubois losing but he pulled it off the TKO upset win. Not only that the low blow people clam to see in the Usyk fight was a legal punch so yes he is one of the top 4 heavyweights on the planet right behind Anthony Joshua, Alexander Usyk and Tyson fury.

That night, I believe Buster used the prior death of his mother as fuel for the fire in his will to fight with all he had and he destroyed Tyson. It wasn’t even personal against Mike. Parker is boring boxer, need ref for "decision " all the time
@paulkirby2761
@paulkirby2761 2 ай бұрын
@@sahersaher4199 Yup, and that's why he wasn't even on the card while the two men he beat were the main event. Parker isn't sellable. He's not good to watch, he doesn't chin other fighters and he's too much of a nice yet ultimately boring guy outside of the ring. In other words he lacks that x factor and belongs in the "who needs him" club. He's well trained and a very capable fighter, tricky fighter that was be a problem for anyone which is part of the problem for Joe. In order for any of the top fighters to take a very risky fight, they have to be very well paid or it's not worth the risk, and in order for a fighter to be very well paid the fight must be marketable, or else exciting enough for the likes of Turki to want to watch it, and Joe just doesn't fit that criteria. He might work a mandatory to force a top fight(and might have done that), but this is boxing, it's a business first, sport second, so his mandatory really doesn't mean shht and even a non-title or vacated belt between two actually exciting fighters like AJ v Fury or as we saw, Wilder v Zhang(before it was clear Wilder's shot) will make the popular and preferred big money fights, not some sort of Parker vs Hrgovic, even for a title(hypothetically speaking), nobody gives a flying f to see that fight enough to package it as a main event... but maybe some moderately interesting low pay undercard encounter.

lets be honest. Filip talked his thing before the fight but come on ddd cant sell anything. plus Filip was beating that guy with only a 1 2. Do you guys think Dubois is going to get so much better with Don charles when he wasnt listening to Don in the fight with Filip. People should give credit to these guys Filip is Olympic pedigree with good fundamentals and he was throwing punches in bunches and he couldnt miss Daniel but Daniel is tough but if he is going to use his face as his defense like Joyce use to do he will get koed by Aj and cold plus Filip did not go to the body and we dont know if Daniel can stand those because Aj will go there

Think DDD was over confident against Joyce and was slow and ponderous , he had fought "bums" before that.. JJ was his first proper fight. He had to quit that fight as his eye socket was busted, not a mental thing. Then with Uysk , fought lot better and agree with Atlas , he hadn't found himself. With Hergovich, what an improvement!! well done. But yes, if he gets hit as often against AJ then its gonna be a tough tough night.

Dubois' big advantage was his physique I agree with the mental aspect (Hrgovic awakened his beastly side by making fun of him), but seriously in a 400 meter race where everyone trains as hard, as you have a guy who puts 20 meters on everyone at the finish, everyone knows the why now, some have talked (money win every time). But Dubois will never be a great boxer, if Hrgovic had better prepared his physique and worked harder he probably would have avoided carnage. Too much volume for a heavyweight and too little power. honestly we can see that the organization strongly favored Dubois, all the head punch, that's what creates the cuts, and stop the fight stop. honestly at the moment I still have Hrgovic winning by a round, but it's clear that his defense is far from being as good as a Fury and that his punch is much less powerful than a Joshua or a Dubois. he is not so strong technically
