There's a good chance that some people from Unni's side might have shown a bite of Secret Agent's video and manipulated Unni into thinking something else. Unni is repeatedly saying Secret Agent insulted his parents and that kid but he never did in reality and was obvious from the video. All Secret Agent did was criticize the promotion (which honestly doesn't matter as there is nothing wrong in selling religion as part of the promotion) and his ambition of being typecasted as Ayyappan for the upcoming generation (from a bite of Unni's interview). Both of them acted like immature school children instead of solving this confusion by just talking it out. (P.S. : I have updated the actual scenario in a reply down below, I was wrong, Unni is completely at fault and he is a bully)

There is a portion in secret agents video in which he said people who raised unni mukundan raised that way and about allowing that small girl sitting on unni's lap. May be as he told he didn't mean anything bad on that but the way he put it across sounded like that. It looks like that talk made unni mukundan react emotionally. That type of thoughts and analysis was not needed. Also how can someone say unni mukundan should answer press questions manly than thinking and reply. Is 'manly' means talking without thinking anything? Anyway at the end of the day both did the same. I watched Malikappuram in theatere and it is a theatre watch movie due to it's visuals and sounds. And all actors did well. It was a feel good fantasy movie.

Two thoughts after watching your version of the fight 1. For a believer, the word 'selling god/bhakti' is hard to digest/accept. The words used by the youtuber might have provoked the actor then. If the same was conveyed differently, might not be the case. 2. You said Kantara also is kind of a movie. You can check the youtuber review of Kantara. He was praising it extremely and says he is not eligible to review the movie. I haven't watched Malikappuram yet, haven't watched any review on it too. But saw pieces of reaction videos of this fight and felt the youtuber not really having good intentions while reviewing the movie and had clear plans during the fight phone call.

They took a movie of something that they believe strong. And when that thing is God, using words like selling will hurt. For example, I have my own way of believing in God, which has no mandate of bowing in front of God's pic or going to any temple. Your analyzes are wrong. I have watched some of the KZbinr’s videos about the movie and the promotion and it wasn’t hard to find where he is praising/defending the actor. Obviously a review can be positive/negative, right or wrong but that channel doesn’t even promote bad language so saying he abused his parents or the girl is false. As for the phone call I’m not sure what exactly you mean by planning. If you mean by that he didn’t abuses back then yes and he admitted that. But again if you watched the whole conversations then it was clear that the actor didn’t want any explanations or call conversation. Instead he was aggressive and abusive. And yeah, KZbinr recorded this all as part of his job and he will get money. If anyone lost here it’s the actor which is also the reason he called back and apologized. Internet is not great place especially for celebrities. If you will react to everything then you as well shouldn’t be in social media at first place.

When it is used as a media to propagate the makers own politics then the line between that and propaganda starts to fade. Case in point - all recent Akshay Kumar movies to favour the inflated patriotism.

@@kp9539 In mukundanunni, i believe the politics (or philosophy) which the writer owns or tries to tell was conveyed by arsha baiju's character at the end. I don't think the writer can disown that philosophy by stating that it is completely the character's thought - because the character was born in his mind. And i believe what comes from us is our politics and if that's not, we have been faking it all along - which is something I can't understand. And actors (like Akshay Kumar) acting in movies opposing their perspective is completely different from a maker making a movie which he claims is not his politics.. He is making it - so he has to own it fully.

I saw 2 out of the 3 videos that Secret Agent had put out about Malikappuram (except the phone call one - got to know its contents through troll channels). In none of the videos, I didn't find him abusing UM's parents. UM actually shouldn't have bothered about him anyway, particularly when the movie is already a smash hit and he is literally swimming in cash right now. So, him abusing Secret Agent was unnecessary and uncalled for... But Secret Agent did say in all his videos that UM is "selling" Bhakti. He claims to be a non-believer, so how does UM selling Bhakti or not affect him is beyond my understanding. Also, even if Bhakti is a predominant theme in the movie, I don't see anything wrong about it. Remember the 1975 movie, Swami Ayyappan? It was Bhakti overload with clear divine elements. But people don't seem to have a problem with it. So how does incorporating a Bhakti theme in a movie be a problem unless it affects the quality of the movie or causes political and social turmoil in society?

എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ രണ്ട് പേരും കാണിച്ചു കൂട്ടിയത് തെണ്ടിത്തരങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാണ്. രണ്ട് പേരും എന്തോ വലിയ മാസ്സ് ചെയ്തത്പോലെയാണ് വെപ്പ്. ഒരാൾ ഭക്തിയെ വിറ്റ് ക്യാഷ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. മറ്റൊരാൾ അതിന് ഓപ്പോസിറ്റ് നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം ആളുകളെ വിറ്റ് ക്യാഷ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. രണ്ട് പേരുടെയും ലക്ഷ്യം പണവും പബ്ലിസിറ്റിയും മാത്രമാണ്.

I can't take mallus analysis...Its not a "Passive aggression" from the side of secret agent.. Its an essentially needed agression at that time against unni..Beautifully paced aggression i must say from secret agent.. Theres no need to attack at first.. But defend first, then attack..secret agent did that..whatever name you call that agression passive or active!..it doesnt matter... Also whether secret agent is right or wrong is a seperate debate.. "JBI TV" says that bad words need to be used but those bad words must be politically right and jBi ask us to mention some politically correct bad words under such circumstances...!! Another point of mallu analyst is that "selling faith" is not a bad thing and faith is something to sell and hence that part of secret agent is wrong.. But that is only mallus analysis.. For a "faithfull person", faith is not something to sell and hence 'selling faith is bad" and hence secret agents point that unni being a faithfull person should not sell faith but unni did that is perfectly a good view point of secret agent...
