If well played, azir is ungankable when have the E and is very asshole when have the ulti. Asshole because you throw the enemy undertower🤣 With the ulti i kill all undertower. With the E, with the ulti and flash you can run away from almost all enemies.

I adore Azir because he's deceptively simple on the surface. Seriously his kit can be explained very simply. W he puts a soldier that attacks when he does. Q he moves the soldier. E he moves TO the soldier. R is a big wall that pushes people away. But the way you can weave these spells together in so many different ways and directions, making him super mobile and aggressive or incredibly safe and distant is why he's so good. The biggest downside with Azir is how gate kept he is by Riot itself. Most players range around Silver in ELO (Me included but hey I still love him) but all nerfs are aimed for high elo and competitive play. Yet Azir is always a contested pick in competitive due to his utility. I don't want Azir to get buffed or anything, I'd just like for him to be left alone for a while. It's not easy to play him in low ELO since most people don't know how to play around him, and people who do play him in this ELO don't have the greatest decision making, me top of that list because I make some REALLY bad choices.

Don't engage when you're not sure you'll survive the engage in clash because you are the main dps of your team. Azir early game is hard so be aware of mana usage and whenever you push tower put a soldier on the raptor for safety and if you're lucky you might spot their jungler with low health. When you face against a roaming champion get demolish and once they roam they lose tower. Putting a soldier reveals your position. Do not face check a bush use W Q because soldier gives slight vision. A good shuffle can lead to a win but don't be greedy.

Its also really worth mentioning that u can use "w e W q" (spawn a soldier while u are flying) u can use it with every combo, even the revenant. Be sure to hit an enemy or kill ur targets with the combo, because else u wont have a way out.

wait really that sounds so cool. It sounds OP for low level all ins since with the E dash bonus soldier you can get the attack speed steroid in almost one fluid motion.

Maybe it's me, but the sounds of the game are way above the music this time. I prefer the oldest version with higher music, lower game sound :) Azir is sadly so hard to master and not so rewarding due to pros having made him nerfed so much. Yet, it's one of the most well made character. Story, Gameplay, Art Design, everything about Azir is amazing !

I have 2 things I can add. It wasn't explicitly mentioned, but you could see it in the match footage. If you queue an auto attack right after Q, then the soldier will auto attack even if he's outside of your attack range. I.e. doing W > auto attack > Q forwards > auto attack > wait so you don't cancel the auto > soldier auto attacks outside of your basic attack range. This lets you for example proc electrocute from max range W even if they run away from you. Another thing is that you can stack soldiers outside of tower range not only to be ready to flee with E > Q, but to stack soldiers so you get the AS bonus from having 3 soldiers active to push faster.

I main him since he came out, and i can tell it sometimes feels unfair playing him cause in most of scenarios your team will be losing the game, and you have to wait for a comeback because you deal low damage in early game, you also depend on calculating really small details for wining the trades and that can feel frustrating in comparison to other champs. But no matter what i always return to use him, its really fun and gratifying when you play him right

You can extend the duration of a soldier by a bit by Q'ing as well. Not sure by how much, but I'm guessing it depends on the travel time. Really useful to get early triple soldiers for the attack speed.

There was a time where azir was so op got from bronze to plat 5 using him his ult stays longer and his w give more attackspeed and q have more damage and imagine the cd on q back then you can just (2-3 soldier) w q auto enemies to death. Then they nerfed him. He was so rewarding back then.

riot needs to fix azir's buffers. can do revenant shuffles (w>e>q>rr) consistently but even if it's working, it feels heavily rng based, like a coding error than a feature. if man can normally cast abilities while dashing, why is it that a second cast requires mashing a hole into your keyboard (or ig double tapping but being able to just time it once shouldve been more than enough). playing azir is fighting the game's system half the times and until this is resolved, not very people will want to pick him up since the coolest part of his kit is being able to do things while flying around at the speed of sound and it's locked behind a wack ass execution barrier (a not wack execution barrier would be riven or fiora combos)

azir, cassiopeiam teemo, old aurelion sol, last and least ryze. Riot should get on resurrectiong apcarry sustained dmg role back from the dead, maybe make it alternative bottom. It's not even weak right now, just often loses to burst on midlane with random junglers. Faker picks it more often than not and it feels like T1 has 2 adcs. Needs only one or two item buffs to be meta.

@@RuzYT It really depends on your playstyle, if you play a poke playstyle then arcane comet / aery is the way with ludens. If you like Conq then you can go conq with liandried or ludens. If you're vs multiple tanks then Lethal tempo and liandries. I prefer Conq myself, with liandries if there's at least 2 tanks or ludens if there's none

lethal tempo and hail are pretty decent too everything has it's ups and downs like hail is better for poking, and lethal tempo is good for pushing the wave, electrocute is also good for poke and burst. Just try out a bit of everything

Azir has a pretty high skill to get benefit of his utility and damage I love the character concept but its just tilting play with him and have whatever enemy making a single combo and 1shot you right away. If riot has the dirty hand to make irelia more op than usual, why they didn't do anything with good old azir?

Think of it as lore friendly, Shurima was the biggest empire and was reduced to literal dust, Azir rebuilt it from zero. As a champion he's off-meta and shit in solo queue, so you have to "rebuild" him into the meta by just being the better player

Here to make a small correction on the builds. With the cost increase to Zhonyas, it's even worse to go Zhonyas 2nd item now. Zhonyas 2nd puts you in a huge power trough. Armguard + Fiendish is the same power level as completing Zhonyas. Having it 2nd item, makes you stay the same champion for 10min. Which just feels horrible. If you get Zhonyas 3rd, it's fine though.

I disagree with precision being the rune page of choice. Im not high elo, but the champ can tap into so many keystones that suit for various matchups an play-styles. I think long trades dont feel great in lane vs 90% of midlane champs, so i opt into comet/domination (i also dislike how aery feels, because getting the most from its lower cd than comet encourages excessive mana use in lane). Precision feels great into more bruiser mids, but comet poking the enemy laner out of lane is just as good as having kill threat and is safer. Comet also lets you match damage in poke lanes. Also, please note that he struggles with mana pre chapter. If you dont land the q+auto it is a waste of mana. Try to push with autos, when possible, instead of the w around lv 3/4 to have mana for full combo when you hit 6.
