Sorry to hear that! Which city was yours from? From my experience, the main thing is to keep it out of the youtube search results. So I have to keep an eye on it because once the youtube algorithm figures out that people spend time on this video after doing a search for the obscure artist's name, then it starts offering my video in search results for those keywords. If that happens, then I have to switch the video to unlisted quickly before the Music Police find it. (It's pretty obvious when it happens because suddenly the views start escalating exponentially, like a thousand a day instead of a hundred.)

And my other video by the even more obscure artist (secret concert 7) is kept unlisted most of the time but I will often make it public overnight during the wee hours, from 7pm to about 4am West Coast time. I've done that at least a hundred times when I'm working the night shift at my hospital and so far the Music Police haven't found it yet. My working theory is that they only work 'banker hours' and thus they never bother to search youtube during the night.

I also have a similar “secret concert 7” video from her recent shows that I’ve been afraid to post because I know they seem pretty aggressive about it. I’ve only posted a few sets and so far they haven’t been hit yet… But the best bet is to unlist or change the title if you see the video is getting lots of views then? Thanks!
