Hello Pan! I revisited your fantastic video 🙌 because I needed the formula to refill my bottle. I wanted to mention that I've been facing the same dusting problem, even though my driveway is 60-80 meters of gravel. Despite the regular delivery vans causing dust due to their daily visits, I noticed a significant reduction in dust on my car after mixing Bead Maker with Dream Maker at a 10:1 dilution ratio. Big kudos to Jamie, the amazing cleaner 👨🏻‍🔬🧪🚙!

What I really love about this combo is that fact you don't have to wait several hours before applying Dream Maker after Bead Maker is cured. Honestly that was one of my biggest gripes using both products. Kudos to Jamie!

Great breakdown Pan. We settled on a similar mix known in our business as ‘Gold Maker’ about a year ago when DM first released. It was definitely bore from necessity and is a staple in our IK.

good idea. I already mixed beadmaker:dreammaker 5:1 in the summer. then paint gloss as a finish. very nice. I have also mixed sonax bsd with adbl wax 50:50. the beading and pearls are fantastic!

I did notice the dust about 4-5 month ago, I did try the 50/50 with dream and bead maker to but as you said the durability was not there, I had tried the griots ceramic 3/1 and did not get the gloss, so I combined all three and happy now,

Wauw!!! The solution of my dreams :) have both pruducts and was always hesitating between both as indeed, I love beadm but comes with a bit of dust and streaks, whereas dreamm comes with nice gloss but no protection. Definitely going to try this!!!!

And this is the same thing that happened to Carpro they’re going to mix two additional additives to create one product everyone was using and then carpro released elixir lol I’m pretty sure they’re working on a combination mix of bead maker and dream maker… and I personally work in a very controlled environment, and my car still attract a lot of dust..

very interesting I've been looking for a product to repel dust. I bought Torque quick detailer since it said it has anti static properties but nothing seems to repel dust on the back of my hatch. Moment I drive dust accumulates on the back of the vehicle after one time of driving. I would like to see a test if this really works.

It's never recommended to detail or apply protection products below 50F (10C). But 50F or above, yes you can certainly use this blend or any other spray protection of your choice.

For the first application, Bead Maker needs to cure 8-10 hours on the surface according to P&S. After that, when you do regular maintenance using it as a drying aid or quick detailer, no curing needed.

As this isn't an official mix, nobody really knows. Typically, shelf life for chemicals is 1-2 years if kept in stable conditions and not frozen. But for a DIY brew, it's hard to say. I use mine quite frequently so I replenish every 2-3 months anyways. Perhaps mix a smaller batch if you aren't using that much.

I don't know that film specifically, but technically, Bead Maker and Dream Maker can both be applied on PPF so I wouldn't be worried. Perhaps check with your installer and see if he is ok with you applying sealants on top of the PPF.

For the first application, you go a bit heavier. After that, for maintenance, one or two sprays per panel is all you’ll need.

Hi Pan. I have a silly question? Is the Bead Maker special sauce the same thing as using GYEON | Q2M WETCOAT? If it is then which is better??

Two completely different products. WetCoat is a spray on rinse off sealant. 1-3 months durability, better hydrophobic properties and chemical resistance. Bead Maker (or the Bead Maker and Dream Maker mix) is a regular spray on sealant that lasts 3-4 weeks at best. It’s mainly used as a topper because of its great gloss and slickness.

It’s so close that by eye it’s impossible to tell. Both are super glossy. We’d need to test with a gloss meter to see if there’s any measurable difference.

I’ve always used Beadmaker every few months but on my last wash it left the paint feeling chalky instead of slick. Any reason why this may occur? I did was the car prior but had to run to the store between. So idk if there was pollen or my towel was shedding causing this as it was new. Usually that wouldn’t leave it feeling chalky and never had this happen before

Hard to say without knowing more background info. How was the vehicle washes, and prepped, what products were used, was there any other protection underneath before applying Bead Maker, etc. Did you try reaching out to P&S or the place where you bought the product to troubleshoot with them?

@@PanTheOrganizer I ordered from a 3rd party resource online about 3 years ago. The car has a professionally installed Ceramic Coating which by itself made it very slick. I wash with a rinse then foam canon and 2 bucket method with a microfiber fingered mitt. Soap is chemical guys something. Not ceramic. Towel dry after using a leaf blower. That’s my main method. I have a feeling it maybe the ceramic coating needs to maintenance and also the new towel shedding while i applied beadmaker

Bead Maker typically lasts 3 to 4 weeks. We don't use it for its durability, we use it for gloss and slickness, as a topper over existing protection. Dream Maker is just a gloss enhancer and only lasts about 1 week, or until your next wash.

Mélange ratio 1:10 Dream Maker et Bead Maker. Ça permet d'avoir le lustre incroyable et l'aspect lisse au toucher, et d'avoir les propriétés anti-statiques de Dream Maker (car certains éprouvent des problèmes de poussière avec Bead Maker seul). On l'utilise comme QD ou aide au séchage. C'est un mélange du tonnerre!

Non, car Dream Maker est déjà le plus lustrant des deux. La raison pour ajouter un peu de Dream Maker dans Bead Maker, est pour les propriétés antistatiques et augmenter le lustre de Bead Maker.

Why wasn't beadmaker made this way in the first place,why would a company make a chemical that attracts dust in the first place,do they not think we drive our cars.I think beadmaker definitely needs reformulating if this is the case.We all buy products to keep our cars clean and for longer but beadmaker is attracting the very thing we want away from our vehicle

Same here pan. I’ve never had any of these issues that some people are complaining about. However, I did do a test when I just did a full detail on my car. What I did was sprayed down my whole car while it was wet with bead maker, then went around the car in the light spritz of dream maker.. I didn’t use my silk drying towels to pull the water off the car, and it dried amazingly.. that worked phenomenal. It’s over a week old now, and I drove through the rain and the car still looks super glossy and very clean.

Had a mix I made nearly a year ago, 80% BM and 20% DM in a 500ml spray bottle. Tested it as a summer test topper/drying aid for my AM Hybrid Sealant coating, and IW SuperGloss+ Spray Wax protection -- very glossy on Subaru Magnetite Grey paint. *Hope P&S are working on BM v2.0 with better longevity/chem resis*

Pan this is great, thanks! I switched from Chemical Guys After Wash to Auto Fanatic’s 007 Gloss Enhancer for my drying aid with your recommendation and I like it more, but both products attract dust. Definitely looking forward to trying this out next!

Thanks Pan and community for sharing this tip. I just tested this mix and it really works. Normally, the dust appeared just next or two days after washing the car. Now, there is much less dust with a longer durability of the gloss and slickness provided by the mix. It really works!

Hello Pan, thank you for the video. I tried this combo on my 2018 black Cadillac and I still seem to attract dust. My ceramic coating is about 12 months but I use Bead/Dream Maker every 2 weeks. Any other products that might help alleviate dust would be appreciated.

Props to P&S for all their products and to Paaaaaan the Organizer, the issues with the dust, in my opinion, comes the most with our customers in the following days after and not so much with us when we’re done with the detail. Very useful information will try the mix, thanks Pan

Dream Maker does boost gloss more than other regular quick detailers, so I'd have to say yes.
