I had a pblm, one time. I know I put 2 $50 bills in but the machine only showed 1. I called the floor attendant and she called another person. They opened the machine and found the second fifty stuck in the machine never processed. I was right and all solved. I enjoy this type of info. Keep it coming. 😊

I had the following happen about 20 years ago at Slots A Fun. I put $100 into a VP game and nothing registered. When the attendant came they saw no signs of a jam and in the menus it said that the last 4 bills put in were 20’s. They ended up pulling the cash box, walking it to the cage, had me stand outside the cage while I watched them open the box and very gently, like with 2 fingers, pulled the top bill from the box which was the last one that the machine took. It was my $100 of course and I got it back, which I immediately had them break into 20’s. It was very interesting seeing the auditing in the machine.

What an opportune video. My sister just had a machine lockup (her words) at Santa Fe Station in Vegas last night. The attendant tried reprinting ticked but nothing was there. They had to go to accounting to verify that her stated coin in was true before issuing her a voucher.

Question. What operating system do slots run. i seen in your "power failure" vid upon reboot, it looked like Windows Vista Boot screen. Do the slot machines run Windows or Linux? What software is installed on the OS. Can you do a video of closing the "Slot Game" program and showing the underline OS. When I was in the military, I worked at the US Cyber Command, always been fascinated with purpose built machines and their underlaying software. Thanks for the great content.

First of all, great content! These kinds of videos are awesome. Secondly, I imagine that it’s pretty difficult to have this happen, but do slot machines ever ‘freeze’ or crash? And if so, is it the slot techs job to generate a diagnostic file for the manufacturer? I work in software quality assurance for point of sale and self check out machines. And I was watching the video I thought to myself ‘this thing has a lot of similarities to a self checkout’ 😂 Obviously the self checkout has more…’functionality’ that it has to worry about more than a slot machine does, but I’d be interested to see if the slots run into similar type issues

Back in 2021 I had the strangest error occur. I was playing at the Cosmopolitan and played my ticket down to $100.68 then hit cash-out. The machine then printed out a ticket for $500.68. I thought it was an print error, but I took it to the ATM and sure enough, $500.68 came out! I was in disbelief. I went back to the same machine and it functioned properly the second time. I have no idea what kind of error would cause this, but I didn't say a word 😅

I had a tilt only once in 30 years of playing slots. The machine clearly showed 3 blazing 7s on the payline, but showed 'game over' instead of the jackpot handpay amount i expected. Called the slot attendant who called the tech. He opened it and showed me the video replay of my last spin but it didn't show three 7s, so I didn't get paid. I even had them call the gaming commission who sent someone down. They shut down the machine and examined it. Called me back a couple of days later and said there was no tampering, just a tilt. I know each machine clearly says tilts won't be paid out, but when it is still displayed on the screen, why doesn't that count? How do I know the internal video replay isn't the one with the tilt?

@GambleSmart7 ай бұрын
Lock it Link games usually have this. You basically set it up with 4 denominations. In this case, it's $0.10, max credits 750 $0.20, max credits 450 $0.50, max credits 250 $1.00, max credits 250 The vA4 is the paytable ID that is linked to the payback %

I asked to see the above camera, they refused. They said it wasn't $100. In this case, nothing I can do without the camera...this happened to me at Sky River Casino,too. They refused to show the recording. What can we do? The gamming board called me...but I said to drop the complaint. Just don't go there anymore. Has anyone ever experienced this slot machine errors?

Coins drop on line hits and jackpot symbols, just like at the casino. Good thing, when done open back and still have your money. Silly, and childish, sure, but fun when bored and a casino trip is not in the near future!!!! Thanks for all your info. Appreciate up to date info, especially the newer machines.
