I was at a popular bistro one night and Todd and Gwen came in and listened to a few songs and had a drink. Right after they left the bartender announced that Todd had left enough money to buy everyone their next drink. The place was packed - his tab was probably $1200. The best part is he had them announce it after he left so it was obviously not to receive praise or “buy” the crowd.

As an employee of Raising Canes, and someone who grew up in Buras, I have never been so proud of my establishment. It's a beautiful and appreciative company to work for and Todd's story is extremely humbling once you learn what he went through for his business. He is constantly doing things for the community and Canes will always be more than a job for me. It's family.

If I was a millionaire I would live a very balanced life, like give 50% of everything I earn to charity or start my own charity to help all kinds of people, unfortunately I struggle everyday with 3 mental illnesses and I haven't figured out yet how to work around that and run a business however I'm inspired by people who help other people more than any other social category who put indifference aside and put their money and or time where there mouth is, we need so many more people like that!
