Kev i can not tell you how excited i am to see your scx24 c10 build as i had just finished mine last week. Very much looking forward to it. I feel its a really solid machine already. I added a higher torque motor, better servo, internal air/spring shocks, big battery, brass wheel hexs, aluminum steering rack, soft tires no foam with 50g bead locks. It's an absolute beast.

Hey Kev I am not sure if you have tried but I was thinking for the high speed runs wouldn't it be easier to see the cars from a height. Like a scissor lift or cherry picker. These are both mobile and will raise you on a platform up to however high within reason you want to go. Was just a thought mate. Love your work and your attitude rocks.

3d print a body for your trx6 then you can remove all the front plastic bumper parts put in a trx4 front bumper and cut 3 inches off the back so it can stand straight up and still be on the rear wheels

Hey Kev speaking of climbing I'm gonna test out my C24-1 2speeds new 50,000rpm @11.1v 370 motor and 320amp esc. I have a video the other days first attempt where it wheelies and does 4.4mph in low gear on 2s before spitting off a driveshaft. I used extra superglue this time should be fun speeds in high gear on 3s and it should climb nice and fast lol

I don't know how Kev and some other guys can upgrade/fit new parts to their RC when it's semi-dirty (the TRX4 is better than something like Kev's Xmaxx, throws less dirt!), I can't bear to do that! I always clean my RC up, then upgrade or install new parts. That's one of my pet peeves!

Nice! I done the same with my original SCX10 & TRX-4. Did you modify the pistons with your shocks on your TRX-4? It has a lot more bounce to it than mines, even with my 10wt oil.

Hell yeah as long as ya dont bash iy fast the extra weight wont break anything hopefully, but that 80's full size bronco is epic had an 85 fleetside long wheelbase made it into a daily driving monster mudding tire smoking diamond treaded out masterpiece , loved that truck painting and 85 f150 body and a 78 f250 body for my rc trucks my first and second trucks

Nice upgrades. I'm still on the stock plastic axles on my TRX-4 axles but I have installed brass outer portal covers. I went for cheap Chinese ones which are really well machined and a nice weight

have to try treal drive shafts on my crawler they might last more than 30 seconds like the last one's did never even got it out the house before they broke!! don't think it needs any more weight though its heavy enough the only plastic on it is the gear box housings one off them stripped too, guess thats what happens building one from scratch from aluminium, welding rods and 6" nails lol

Use some lead weight for car wheels in to the tires and stick them to the rims and cover with standard foam. With heavier front you can climb much better. Check also over gear for front axle and under gear for rear axle than front will spin 5times for every 4 of rear wheels. It works perfect for climbing.

Put a 3300kv Hobbywing Axe in the 6x6. I have one in mine and it rips. Reverse your locking servos so the rear locks before the front and you can have lots of fun with it.

When jumping the rc cars how go you control it to land on its wheels. I am new to this. I am guessing it has to do with giving it more or less acceleration. Could you do a video to explain or do you not do that sort of thing.

I just did the brass upgrades on my scx24 and it does better. Also you should relocate the lights in the bumper to the grill just gotta take the stickers off and pop the lights out and put them in the back of the grill makes it look better with proper head light

Sweet a change up n content!!! I love the bashing but crawling is a different thing.. and I think my Capra is probably 8lbs + and i have it heavy on the front probably just guessing it’s around 60/40 I will know tomorrow evening going to a friends… gonna finish my 4ws and then put it on the scales.. and I’m gonna see what and how much the rear brass knuckles and covers do or change it the weight biases.. if it’s a big change I might not put none on the rear… might see how the knuckles by themselves do.. or maybe just the covers.. ive got almost $3000 or better n it… it has a 16t 5 slot Holmes hobby crawlmaster pro.. and hw 1080 and different axels shocks that the guy quit making..( best shocks ever made) if someone knew who I was talking about on the builder of them .. u would understand.. he’s from Australia.. not gonna say no more cause those shocks r no longer being made.. and a whole lot of other stuff! It dominates everything I’ve put it against.. atleast around here where I live n nc… but I’m probably gonna tear it down this winter and do more stuff to it… More cosmetically than anything.. it might end up with a power wagon body on it.. 🤷‍♂️ the sky is the limit on this hobby… we all know that..
