Have you tried using transparent half tips with dual forms on top? I have been trying a design for a while where my free edge gets covered in a polygel similar to the natural color of my nail bed (which I also utilize to attach a transparent half tip because I want the extension to look like glass), then I layer opalescent mylar flakes and build the structure on top with dual forms and clear hard gel It’s taken me several tries and its nowhere near perfect 😅 so would love to see a master like you giving it a try
@annakobnailstudioАй бұрын
Thank you so much for the idea! That sounds like a really creative design! I’ll definitely give it a try in the future and share how it turns out 😊

Where did you find the flat dual forms? My nails are flat at the curved dual forms do not fit well and result in a nail that is very thick at the apex.
@waterbucks6476Ай бұрын
Do your nails grow up? My nails are flat and concave so dual forms do not work, they produce a terrible architecture
@bonnyandbella2212Ай бұрын
Where can i get the dual forms you are using in the video? They are perfectly straight and have a beautiful C curve.

Try searching online, these are forms from FOX (square).

Hi, what color is the gel or did you put a gel color on top, also what is the name of your top coat. By the way great idea ❤😅
@annakobnailstudio27 күн бұрын
Thank you! I used a camouflage gel from DNA and a milky gel from Delusio. I'm not sure if these exact products are available in your region, but you can look for similar alternatives ❤️.

If you remove sticky layer from premade tips and rubber base on the nail surface, then how it's going to be adhere?
@gyongyihuszak7648Ай бұрын
Why would you do double work instead of putting the dual form directly on the nail? The end result is the same, only faster. 🤔
@stateofdisorder1Ай бұрын
More control and less clean up
@unboundbytiffanyАй бұрын
@stateofdisorder1 nah. Put a paper form under before applying the dual form, no clean up on underside. None of its necessary. And applying that gel tip with gel is horribly dangerous. It will not be fully cured. It cannot possibly because it's an opaque already cured tip. She's innacurate. >< omg.

I’ll say this again: I’m not claiming this is the most effective or the fastest method or anything like that. I’m just sharing different methods and techniques, demonstrating various approaches. I mentioned this in the video. If some people actually watched the video without skipping through and listened, about 50% of these types of comments wouldn’t even exist.

When I make my nails at home it causes me allergies and I don't know why can you tell me why please
@annakobnailstudioАй бұрын
It’s possible that you’re allergic to some of the ingredients in the nail products you're using. For example, ingredients like acrylates or certain chemicals in gel polish, primers, or top coats can cause reactions. Try switching to hypoallergenic products or consult a dermatologist to find out which ingredient might be causing the issue. It's also important to make sure the products are fully cured under the lamp, as under-cured gel can increase the risk of allergies.
@karimcdonald7670Ай бұрын
I was going to say the same- I’m guessing you’re just getting into nails/using gel products? Some of the less expensive lamps (I learned this the hard way many years ago, some equipment- lamps; efile; dust collectors- are worth the higher investment!) aren’t powerful enough to fully cure gel products and can leave layers of uncured gel and repetitive topical exposure to the under-cured product can cause allergies to develop over time- sometimes temporary, sometimes permanent 🫤 hope that helps!
@olena8398Ай бұрын
Also, would like to add to the comments above, try to avoid while working with those products that cause you an allergic reaction to, touching a skin, and most likely that’s what happened
@nancynehme3043Ай бұрын
I like your method and I’m going to try it, thank you ❤

Uhm sorry but how in the world are you just assuring people the gel they are going to try to cure under an already cuted opaque nail tip is going to cure fully? Like uhm what? How could you even possibly assure this? It makes no sense its just asking for undercured gel and allergy risks for zero real purpose. Not ok :(
@annakobnailstudioАй бұрын
Before I show anything on my channel, I test it on myself. I haven't had any issues with gel curing. High-quality gels cure properly if you use the right techniques. I’m not forcing anyone to do it exactly as in the video, it's just one method I successfully use. And yes, I’ve never had a gel not cure properly👌
