After consuming non-veg dont do any chanting. I am sure you will not consume everyday. If yes then chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam or Trishathi will not bring much effect to you.. ITs just that when you consume non-veg, the sadhana will take a longer time Sri Mathre Namaha

It's your choice Deepali. Good that after consuming you dont chant. Follow this simple step, you will be able to progress deeper. Non-veg brings Tamsic energy, Mantra elevates to Satvic - so there will be internal push and pull happening which will delay your sadhana. Hope you understand what happens when you consume non-veg. Someone had instructed u need initiation to chant these stotrams ,it has been kept a secret for particular reason that is also ambal s decision oly noe if we really want to follow her directions then we need to respect the rules set also. If you have fear or doubt - dont do it. No one must force you Any Sadhana is self realisation, you have to be having an intent to do. If you are supposed to chant you will chant if Ambal is willing, if not you will not. Sri Mathre Namaha
