I know the children heard everything - all of your arguments! I know because I was raised in a house by Parents who lived that kind of lifestyle! Many nights Mom got my 3 brothers & me ready & in bed just before they had one of their arguments along with some physical fighting. Then Mom would step into the doorway of our bedroom & ask angrily why we weren't asleep yet. I didn't say it then, but I sure was thinking, "Excuse me, but that wasn't exactly a lullaby we were just hearing!" Yes! Your children hear all of what you do & say! Make sure it's good & not bad!
