I find it hilarious that those two frame wins solidified Smant’s victory. If he had lost those then he would be a 40 points, Fir would go up to 37 points and get third place, and then CJ would get 41 points and he would’ve won. Those nine frames were the different between first and second place.

honestly, I'd like to see one of these done but with the hide and seek timer rules instead of a point system, so your timer goes up while you look for it and ends when you find it. that way people finding it at the same time won't be as big of an issue

@@Etrelley The way the hide and seek timer works is that it runs through all the maps they play while somebody is hiding, and as soon as they're found it pauses. So somebody could get a 5 minute time in Moon Kingdom, somebody else a seven minute time, but in Cap Kingdom the first person could get a ten minute time and the second a seven minute time, and the second would win overall. You can apply it to here in basically the same way, just have the 'seeker' be Arrow who's standing still, and the 'hiders' stop the timer by running into him.

Something Id love to see is the hint get changed from being pixelated to being a super zoomed in image of the spot that zooms out to show the spot after a while. Alot of people end up seeing the image and knowing exactly where it is. So it just kinda ends up making it come down to how fast you can figure out the thing which means it ends up just ending the second one person finds it because most people figure out the area its in immediately. Anyways amazing series I absolutely love it so far. I can’t wait to see more of it.

just a bit of feedback for the format: some of the hints just indicated a large area the correct solution could be in, so it just became a game of try everything you can possibly think of in that area...which would make the entire thing luck-based cause following someone else is a legit strategy and those several-frame differences are likely to happen I'd say a better way to format these races would 1. screenshot method: starting with a screenshot of a very small part in the area where the entrance is (i.e. wall texture, object, etc.) and after like 3 minutes send a new screenshot with more details, like what Moarf did or 2. hint arts: use custom-made hint arts for hints to where and what needs to be done to get there, Fir did a few videos with custom moons based on hint arts and your previous video also works well

Just like in Mario Party, I think the chance element kinda makes it more fair. You can see how much faster everyone is compared to poor Manx. But because he sometimes stumbled into it, then he got to actually compete.

You should switch from using hide and seek mode to the Sardines mode so that way people don't get killed when they touch you or someone else that found you and since there is suction the people who already found you would not be able to go away to affect the other contestants in anyway.

Another thing that would be cool to add: Have a timer running each round and note down how long each player takes to get to you. After all rounds are concluded, you award bonus points from 4 to 1 depending on who was fastest at your location in total. Somewhat like the bonus stars in Mario Party.

something that might help to prevent players from estimating where you are based on how long it took you to get to the spot, you should either add in warps directly to the spot, or set a 5 or 10 minute timer, and just wait for that to finish, that way the amount of time is the same for each hiding spot

I’m not a fan of the location being obvious with the hard part being finding the entrance but with so little reference to the entrance in the photo. It felt like a lot of these were just go to the area and then do random things until you stumble into the door. I feel it would be much improved if the way to enter was hinted at in the clue

I haven't finished the video yet, but from what I have seen, the hints are.. Something, to say the least so I can't really blame CJ for the frustration. Considering the hints are just locations and since every time is basically "you have to do this just to get in" without ANY indication hint of what to do, it's no blame to why they bumble around not knowing what to do for what's probably longer than the final footage. I'd say, maybe, instead of just the location that firstly can give it away and leave them all "??" , maybe a 'drawn' hint of the location (as an example for the last one, maybe a church emoji or something like a bell instead of the whole big chapel), and then an slight hint of HOW to enter it, without giving it away and making it seem unfair as heck when it's frames off or something just when they FINALLY have to put two and two together. I dunno. Just feels underwhelming bc even as a viewer I didn't even understand how to get into the rooms and I watch a lot of yalls videos.

I'd personally say start with broad hint arts, such as it being at the chapel, and then maybe slowly zoom in on the area of interest, or change in some way to indicate the solution. Like maybe the chapel bell could start ringing, or the Cap Kingdom one could have a hat appear on the light. Given the generally simple solutions, that'd probably give it right away, but it's an idea, anyway.
