My oldest brother was an aide to LBJ. He said he was an S.O.B. to EVERYONE, BUT he was also the hardest working man he had ever seen! As a Texas Peace Officer I have worked Presidential Security Detail, and actually been "interviewed" by George W. Bush about a non-POTUS matter. And, no the POTUS "security detail" was not for G.W.B. Bush struck me as an all-around nice guy. I can also say that the "security lapse" that happened with Trump recently, knowing what I have personally experienced in a "Security Detail" just doesn't sound right!!! The extra measures the Secret Service has to go through for each different personality should be just "part of the Job!!!"

The headline for this video says, "Secret Service reveals the president they hated more than anyone." This is very misleading--dishonest even. Except for the part about LBJ, the video simply pointed out the logistical problems protecting various presidents, e.g. Trump has several adult children who are in business and need to travel, so this put a strain on the Service. That does not mean they "hated" Trump. Obama kept his personal smartphone and this created problems--that does not mean he was hated. Other than LBJ, we never learned who mistreated the Secret Service the most.

I think Bush Jr. was the hardest for the Secret Service to protect. During his waking hours, his hyperactivity and restlessness was a constant worry for the Secret Service. He could be out mountain biking, tending to his ranch, jogging, anything. I think Nixon was the easiest for the Secret Service to protect. Nixon wasn't the kind of individual to go out jogging, playing tennis, mountain biking, or anything that requires strenuous activity. His 2 presidential retreats, one in Key Biscayne and the other in San Clemente, were easy for the Secret Service to protect and defend whenever Nixon was vacationing in either one. Just my chump change.

I loathe The West Wing after 2001, and CJ was one of the reasons. And she became Chief of Staff. In general, the USSS prefer protectees who follow the script and don't make agents' lives even more hellish. Usually Republican presidents take their advice, the exceptions being Nixon (or rather Haldeman) who wanted them to cattle-chute hippies and other protestors, and Trump who favors open-air rallies. Democratic presidents however either don't want to give the impression that anybody would want to harm The Nation's Savior, or feel that the USSS procedures cramp their style; additionally, their political staff often look on the USSS as either right-wing Deep State goons or flunkies. From my research they hated LBJ and Nixon--or at least Nixon's staff--and didn't have good rapport with Clinton.
