People have called Gus a genius for signing these players from other clubs but in the background, they're losing players like Itula Seve and other jrs. As far as I can see it's not the Penrith model of building the club from the ground up and supplementing great juniors with players from other clubs. What Gus seems to be doing is what got the Dogs into trouble a while back under Des.
