Would have loved an extra story bit where your character gets a text message from Player about the M3 where he challenges you to a pink slip race to get his car back. you face him in a 1v1 race against his tuned up R8 (the same one he won from Darius, it’s practically a race car at this point but still has the stacked deck paintjob). When you win you get another text from him saying something like “and like that she slips through my fingers again. I suppose it’s time to pass the torch, take good care of her, and try not to take her through Rockport.”

Since this video is old and i think before nfs unbound released, during unbound there's a high heat delivery mission involved the M3 GTR. The player from what i understood reached Yaz(character in game) to deliver his car to a place. Yaz after that contacted you(your unbound player)and said that the delivery comes from a guy who was in the blacklist and he got out of prison and by any means wants that car back. So you(unbound player) managed to do the delivery. So i guess the player is back again with his loved and heroic M3 GTR. After this it definitely adds theories Since I'm too late idk if anyone gonna see this but anyway i wanted to share my thoughts😂

The M3 GTR used is the actual car used in the American LM series so not only rare therefore expensive it's engine is very rare which would add alot of value. So I highly doubt a street racer would be unable to get a car like the M3 GTR through buying it. Instead I think they stole or won it

You are wrong, in NFS Heat - the BMW M3 GTR that mercer drives is the REAL one because you can hear the V8 engine sound when you drive next to him. The BMW M3 GTR's in NFS 2015 and Payback are the 6 cylinder ones as they both share inline 6 sound which proves that they aren't the real M3 GTR, but rather a BMW M3 E46 with a bodykit and livery.

That rumor would not likely fly first why leave palmont again after he took it over Second why would he want to become a cop Third and more importantly to make it clear in all caps. HE IS THE MOST WANTED. He is on fbi most wanted list and had his finger prints taken at the police station. There for he cant join police given they would take extensive background checks to make sure he isn’t a criminal beforehand. I hate that rumor as well as the ryan cooper tie in which doesn’t fit well enough because again most wanted driver cops are looking for him and he isn’t underground driver ether as there no tie in to say he is. Though underground driver could be ryan and it would fit better.

So the theory that frank is our player from MW and Carbon just does our player wrong and nfs2015 and payback it isn't the real BMW M3 GTR just replicas, and that a overrated lambo can catch it and bust it up is just dirty but stay with me.... what if the NFS Games are setting us up for something good and big. The return of the real BMW M3 GTR and our player back in action in a cabon/MW style game where Razor and Darius and possibly a cross return that want revenge. How would this go down well cross wants you in jail for a long long time so bounty hunter/hunters and cops. Razor and Darius want to see you loose everything so a blacklist/territory style. Where we can choose to use the M3 GTR and or Win/buy and modify other cars now this isn't the best explanation but I would be more than happy to play as our MW/Carbon player again in a new storyline with the BMW M3 GTR

My theory- After we did the jump in Rockport, Cross came to palmont and told Darius about the M3 gtr and the player "Hero". Then when the player came to palmont, Darius sent cross to go after the player and get the m3 gtr. When the steel pipes fell on the gtr, Darius told us that our car was totalled and then he towed the car somewhere to his garage and started working on the gtr. After we beat Darius, he towed the gtr once again to somewhere he was planning to go and that was palm City. He got busted in palm City and Mercer impounded the car. Then Mercer did not escape because of the player. Also the M3 gtr in nfs world, mw 2012, nfs 2015, nfs payback was all fake. It was just a bmw E46 customised. The real bmw M3 GTR was only in nfs mw 2005, nfs carbon and nfs heat.

The question still remains of how the Hero of the game aquired a race spec M3 GTR and gave it the street car look. Was it stolen from the race track? Or was it purchased from BMW Motorsports works team after they withdrew from the ALMS when the M3 GTR was banned from racing after complains from Porsche? Who knows. The origins of the production of Most Wanted was a toss up between the Skyline GTR as they knew how the Skyline GTR was cemented as the Hero car in 2 Fast 2 Furious or some other hero car but after the producers saw the BMW M3 GTR dominating the ALMS races. They chose the M3 GTR as the hero car and the rest was history. The hero actually came from Palmont City of Carbon. Escaped the cops in 2002 and ran to Olympic city of Underground 1 in 2003 , the hero later was injured by Caleb in a car crash, six months later arrived in Bayview in 2004 dominated the races and defeated Caleb before appearing in Most Wanted with the M3 GTR. theory is that the Player = using an alias in Prostreet becoming Ryan Cooper and defeating the kings becoming the street king. As the announcer mentioned of a Supra that was dumped with the keys inside and the Plate NFS CARBON. Meaning the car came from Palmount. After the long absence of the M3 GTR the so called M3 GTR "replicas" appeared in Most Wanted 2012, in 2015 and Payback. The heat version is supposedly the same car that was in Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon. As mentioned in the video, the M3 GTR is a full on race car and most of the body panels are lightweight carbon fibre which is strong but prob hard to repair during the time it was "totaled". The body panels could be replaced with carbon fibre parts since it slightly easier to manufacture with recent technology. Also the M3 GTR is a race car so the chassis have to be stiffen or reinforced to FIA specs, roll cage have to be welded to the chassis/frame of the car so while the body panels of the got smashed by the heavy metal/concrete pipes. The roll cage should have saved the chassis from being full crushed. A normal M3 would have been flatten and the Player would be dead already. Darius left Palmont city after getting his ass whooped by the Player, so him acquiring the M3 GTR is 0%. The car was left at the crash site in the starting scene. It would have been picked up by Nikkie's and the player's crew since they assessed the damage of the M3 and deemed the car "totaled" aka undrivable. The engine and drivetrain was damaged/destroyed by Razor's but was later rebuild and upgraded. Even thou the car was crushed by the pipes in Carbon. I believed the drivetrain is still in working condition. hence it only needed mostly bodywork repairs. We only can believed that the Player, assumed the car was a total write off and forget about the car. But the car was sold off to a scrapyard. Until someone else picked up the car, restored it and then resold without knowing the history of the car. Police database should have the VIN of the M3 GTR if there is any VIN to begin with since its race car, but since it had street plates. It has to have a VIN to get the registration done. The M3 GTR would have been changing hands in the Blackmarket and the dark web for a long time and because of missing papers, many didnt know the M3 GTR was very valuable or prized. But the M3 GTR was now owned by the Hero of Blackridge. But did he sold off the car after knowing its history? We won't know either. A simple run thru the police database would have let Lt Mercer know that this M3 GTR was the Most Wanted M3 GTR in the whole of USA. And being a special one off like only 10 units were made by BMW Motorsports Works team and those after the withdrawal were crushed/destroyed by BMW leaving only the Street ver in the BMW Museum. Lt Mercer was planning to ship the car to South America but after his operation was busted by the Hero of Heat. He tried to use the M3 GTR as the getaway car but failed successfully and got killed in the process.

Both the Underground duology hero and the MW/Carbon duology protagonist are 2 separate persons with their own goals to achieve. The Undeground hero wants to be the best street racer by increasing his reputation level as well as taking revenge against Caleb Reece nearly killed him in an accident with his blue Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R that happened 6 months before going into Baywiew. As for the MW 2005/Carbon hero, his main goal is to get back his BMW M3 E46 GTR stolen by Razor due to cheating and sabotage And unfold the truth about of his flee from Palmont City which happened the night when he did a street race against Angie,Kenji and Wolf as well as finding who's the main responsible of this Unfortunate event. Also, their respective duologies happens in standalone continuities without any connections to eachother. Even the scenario writer of NFS MW 2005 called Adrian Vershinin confirmed himself that the Undeground duology is totally separate from the MW 2005/Carbon duology. What was explained in the video is both delusive, disingenuous, utterly false and misleading.

In this Prologue, Razor stole your BMW M3 E46 GTR by cheating and sabotage. By his fault, the Player which is also yourself ends up temporary in jail. However, he was released quickly due to a lack of evidences. Then, Mia picks you up from the Rockport Police Station and tells you that Razor became Blacklist N°1 with your BMW M3 E46 GTR. Thereafter, the only thing you wanted is to get back your car from Razor's hands by beating all Blacklist members and Razor himself.

NFS lore is so big that it gets harder and harder to understand it. It gets more difficult to understand after 2015. That bmw is seen almost in every nfs game. In payback its abandoned, in heat it’s caught by police, in unbound it’s being delivered to razor. But also lets not forget about mobile version of nfs(no limits). There is an event called “urban legends” where we get this bmw and we can keep it if we win new blacklist at blackridge city. And also there is an event for Bugatti chiron (25 years anniversary) and through whole event we complete nfs legend games such as prostreet, underground, etc. But at the end of the event we fight mistery boss on nissan gtr. And guess who it is? It is player. As soon as we win him he tells us that “Olympic city… Bayview… Rockport… Palmont city… These are my cities. But Blackridge, I don’t need convincing. This one is yours. One day you’ll join me in infamy. I know it. Keep it up” but that’s not it. If you have that legendary bmw he says this “Oh.. and thanks for looking after the M3”

BMW from the NFS Universe built the car. Then, the NFS MW 2005/NFS Carbon hero bought his own BMW M3 E46 GTR before going to Rockport. Do note there's a 4 year interval between the moment he flees Palmont City during the NFS Carbon Prologue taking place in 2001 according to the Prima Guide and when he enters to Rockport in Autumn 2005.

I actually have a cousin who has a PS4 and has NFS Heat and after the last mission I will literally use the car until I go home but I still have a long way to go until I can buy it and like in 2018-2019 I used to play NFS Most Wanted and I had an account there where I completed the game but I didnt have the BMW so I was sure I got busted a lot of times and it was gone and my dad told me to "Play from the start and get it back" and I was like "But it will take a while" but since today I couldn't play bc if I play it, it bugs and my dad said "our movies might delete" its movies we watch on the computer not our made movies ok?

The BMW M3 E46 GTR in NFS Payback is in reality a replica based on a regular BMW M3 E46 powered with a S54B32 I6 engine and has the GTR bodykit. All BMW M3 E46 GTR which appears outside of NFS Carbon are copies since the original from NFS MW 2005/NFS Carbon was destroyed by Cross twice.

There was a bunch of theories that another KZbinr brought up about the M3 GTR, to start this off the amount of money that was won from racing and from sponsorships in UG2 by the player he was able to buy a homologation version of the M3 GTR and was able to customize it to be as close to the racing version as possible since owning the actual racing version is next to impossible. How the car got into Mercer‘s hands may very, one theory suggest that the totaled M3 was bought, restored and sold to Mercer by Darius to make up the lost profits after losing to the player in NFS Carbon or was bought by another racer and just changed hands over the years before eventually being impounded by Mercer before the events of NFS Heat, since the car was already infamous it would’ve been too big of a risk to drive it again so it’s sat waiting to be sold overseas until the events of NFS Heat. As for how it got to Lakeshore I’m not entirely sure but my own theory suggest that someone from Mercer’s corrupt unit was able to use the M3 to escape justice and flea to Lakeshore not fully knowing how dangerous it actually was driving it where it gained the attention of the newly reformed blacklist. There was so much pressure coming down on them from police and possibly other racers who knew about the M3 that they had to abandon the car in order to skipped town which is where Yaz’s delivery mission comes into play and why there was so much heat coming down on NFS Unbounds protagonist while driving the M3, it was already being monitored by LSPD and unbeknownst to them the blacklist.
