I feel that you may be partially right. I personally feel that if you use other ppl's sensitivity (and they also have similar layout as you) as a reference point, and tweak it to fit your standards via rigorous training, I think you can achieve the same result. Saves you some steps while getting the perfect sniping accuracy.

To answer your 2nd question if you snipe in respawns your tactics and others would be different. In s&d you would hardly see people rush so hard other than in respawns because in snd you got 1 life. I would suggest practice aiming with a sniper know different types of movements or plays people do because its useful to know your enemies. I won't suggest using a sniper but its up to you

It's just to control the recoil of the gun like AR,Lmg,Smg but for sniper and shotgun it can help a little for flick shots but it's depends on the player most of the player can perform better without gyro but other player they prefer using gyro because of the recoil control and can perform better too but not just because you turn on the gyro you will perform way better than the non-gyro user it's just depends on how you play and if you're more comfortable in non-gyro then go without it but if you're more comfortable with gyro then go turn it on.

U can be a complete movement and aim menace with shotguns whilst putting in way less time than others.(in both br and mp) U eventually forget that vertical recoil exists. Improved crosshair placement and reaction time U can completely wreck most people in close range fights I don't think it helps for sniping tho and the journey to master gyro will take 6 to 8 months difficult months if you have a life outside codm
