recently i stumbled upon ravenhill through the search term "revival". i thank Father God for showing me that my prayer life was stagnant and thats putting it nicely. since, i have become born again from being born again. i pray frequently now and the strength in me has risen immeasurably. the bible is testimonies that came from spending time with the invisible God. religion teaches that we meet God by putting the bible first and thats a lie. faith is not something we gain. faith is God, so when we have God, then we have faith. its not "when we have a head full of scripture memorized then we have faith" bc thats works and works nothing but pride and arrogance in us. God is love. knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. so when we have God then we have love. words will never reveal the reality of God that can only be experienced by seeking Him in prayer. people seek miracles. they seek wisdom. they seek things. thats all wrong. seek God with no expectations and He delivers us from expectations and idols first and foremost. seek His heart, not His hand and keep it that way.

I thought Christians pray continually already, as a matter of fact, I know they do. I'm not Christian but am a believer in Yehuah the God of Israel. I have watched churches have prayer teams and at least a half a dozen strong. We just have a group of seventy who keep the Sabbaths and the glory literally appears and a huge whirlwind of fire goes all around us and through us. We just follow the Hebrew scriptures as we are supposed to. We do what is called Havdallah, which is an extended stay of the Sabbath as well. The longest we went was 72 hours so far during the feast of tabernacles. We just pray in harmony, then sing praises in harmony, then magnify God, then eat breakfast together, then we pray, praise, give acclamations, magnify God. Then someone give a thirty minute motivation speech, then we pray, praise, etc. over and over just like it is in heaven. All day long, no one leaves neither because it's a sin to travel far on the Sabbath. We are commanded to stay put on the Sabbaths, have holy gathering celebrations unto Yahuah, and to copy heaven throughout the entire day. The glory appears every time, then we are filled with the Spirit of Yahuah. Then we go home in the evening and continue prayer, praise, etc. throughout the week. The whirlwind of fire stays with us as we remain faithful. If we sin and don't repent real quickly, then the whirlwind of fire leaves us. I experienced it and have to wait until the next Sabbath gathering to get renewed again.

@Ministry Of Agape Rearranging Our Priorities [6:32] The life of this world is no more than illusion and vanity, while the abode of the Hereafter is far better for the righteous. Do you not understand?! [6:33] We know that you may be saddened by what they say. You should know that it is not you that they reject; it is GOD's revelations that the wicked disregard. 36 “Sir, which is the most important command in the laws of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.’ 38-39 This is the first and greatest commandment. The second most important is similar: ‘Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.’ 40 All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets stem from these two laws and are fulfilled if you obey them. Keep only these and you will find that you are obeying all the others.” Matthew 22:36-40 Living Bible (TLB) 17 “When you call me good you are calling me God,” Jesus replied, “for God alone is truly good.[a] But to answer your question, you can get to heaven if you keep the commandments.”18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good!19 “Do you realize what you are saying when you call me ‘good’?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good, and no one else. 🥀⚰🥀

Mark 12:29-30 King James Version 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 1 Peter 3:6 Amplified Bible 6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham [following him and having regard for him as head of their house], calling him [a]lord. And you have become her daughters if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear [that is, being respectful toward your husband but not giving in to intimidation, nor allowing yourself to be led into sin, nor to be harmed]. Footnotes 1 Peter 3:6 In ancient times a common title of honor and respect. Revelation 22:17 Living Bible 17 The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ Let each one who hears them say the same, ‘Come.’ Let the thirsty one come-anyone who wants to; let him come and drink the Water of Life without charge.

The secret to revival is for one person to tarry at the foot of the Cross, doing as did Mary, "that one thing needful," until the Lord has revealed and replaced one by one the remaining impure motives of the heart. Anything beyond that is up to the Sovereign Grace and timing of God. [Edit+: I reveal in tweets those potential holy replacements. Also important for most is to not care if after a personal revival the Lord has you to help just one other person, or one million: the desire for the latter usually rooted in personal/selfish ambition and not God.]

Why the fake sappy distracting background music, no doubt to lure the feebleminded and unwary babes in Christ, and an effort to vainly enhance & make a special effect,, imitating the presence of God. The true presence of and convicting work of the Holy Ghost is enough. Sadly, though well intentioned, Leonard Ravenhill was an overly religious man. Whoever uploaded this video must've been hyped up on their religious trip.

"Lord teach us to pray" wasn't this explanation of prayer. Yes there are times when we can not utter a thought or put into words or pray as we ought but to say groaning is the best way to pray is not true. I agree with needing to pray but mindless praying and just groaning only turns into meaningless sounds that last for hours when we could pray and seek God, get up and hit the streets or talk to our neighbors about Christ.
