Cows look great. Keep up the good work. Would love to see what the area looks like now that you grazed back in the beginning with 30 some days of rest

i second the comment about dung beetles. good little critters to have around as they really help break up and spread the manure.

Hey sir, have you thought about dung beetles to cut down on the flies?
@Hy-Brasil6 ай бұрын
they do a lot more than that! good idea to incorporate them to any farm.
@crazycritterlady87882 жыл бұрын
nice deep grass, hope you get at least a week outta it. I don't have cattle so even a week seems like a very short time. But what do l know. 🤔 Good luck with it. I'd like to know just how many days you do end up getting on that area.

How are your steers doing gaining weight? How long until you think they are ready to butcher?
@SheratonParkFarms2 жыл бұрын
They seem to be putting on weight. Thinking we’ll have some ready in august. A couple of them are really starting to get wide in the rear. Looking pretty good. Thanks for watching

If you have enough forage to keep your animals on pasture for 4 TO 6 DAYS!!! then your paddock is way too large. Give them enough for 1 day or maximum 2 days....not more. Otherwise it gives them the opportunity to graze "the candy" and leave what they don't like behind. That degrades your pasture.
