@jackwitt7430 I finally figured out what I was upset about. You felt the need to “correct” something that wasn’t even wrong, even _if_ I was being serious? Your input wasn’t relevant to the conversation and you came off like a jackass. Then, when I explained it to you, instead of apologizing you doubled down and pressed, then proceeded to insult me. Completely self-unaware behavior. I hope you work out your issues in therapy and I finally have closure on the situation myself.

The nomads are one of the best jokes in the series. Only Aang was barely nice enough to tolerate these stoners.

I thought the badger moles were really cool. Loved how an animal that can bend would be part of the "two lovers" lore and tie into the broader story. This season does a much better job of showing the lingering damage the fire nation does. I think the previous season made it clear, but this shows us the real scars it is leaving on everything. Zuko is having to come to grips to that too. I was soooo disappointed when he stole the bird-horse thing, even though I understood he's in a desperate situation and is a mess mentally. The little moments where he talks to the girl and sees her scars and can liken her own pain to what he has suffered at the hands of his father (and because of his nation's toxic ideology)... it makes him so much more sympathetic. I mean, I know they were already showing him in positive lights, but when I felt sooooo disappointed he stole the horse thing, I realized how much I had turned to rooting for him as soon as I was feeling so disappointed.

The Fire Nation is strongest when there's no named antagonists leading it. They're unstoppable this episode with Zhao gone, preventing travel to Omashu by air or land and forcing them underground, and then capturing it offscreen.

I don't think it had occurred to Zuko that the Fire Nation might hurt civilians like Song. People who weren't enemy soldiers. But they're still the enemy.

I love this episode so much, it's so hilarious with the high-nomads and Sokka. XD The badger-moles are also very cute, and the fact that they were tamed by music was also really sweet. And cannot forget the iconic "Secret Tunnel" song.
