You're lawn looks great. I feel your pain about putting so much effort into having a beautiful lawn and having inconsiderate neighbors allowing their dogs to pee and poop on my lawn. I got tired of personally confronting them and politely asking them to please keep their dogs off my lawn and pointing out all the dead spots on my lawn caused by dog urine. Some people would argue with me and I would remind them that this is private property and that I never walk my dogs down to their yards and use their lawn as a toilet for my dogs. There are pre-made signs you can purchase online. I bought 2 and placed them on my lawn. They say " Please keep your dogs off the grass". It totally took care of the problem and now my lawn looks terrific. I also have an EGO mower that I use to cut my tall fescue lawn. I purchased it in August 2021 and it is the top of the line LM2156 select cut model. It works great and I've never had any problems with it.

I ultimately changed to Bermuda, so even the worst dog spots fill in without effort.

My neighbor has an EGO. It cuts very well. I have one of those $64 clearanced out Greenworks. It cuts not so well. No testicular fortitude. Thank you for producing another epic installment. It's no good for large areas with overgrown grass, wish I didn't know that. Over 5 cuts and finally at a good place. Don't ask how I know 😁. Glad ya enjoyed! I definitely want one of them t shirts, and part of the club.😉

That is awesome, any idea how low you think you'd get by shimming the blade with a couple washers? I may pick one up to use as my scalping mower if can go low enough.

Glad I came across your video. I replaced a 2015 5-amp push EGO with its 2021 equivalent - LM2101. I discovered that the 2021’s setting #1 still cuts way higher than the 2015 did. I suspect that this is because they changed the design to accommodate the dual-blade configuration. So I’ll try your “trick”. EGO of course was no help. When researching for a replacement for the 2015 EGO, I ended up going with EGO again because of their 5-year warranty. Three and a half years after using the 2015 mower, some electronics failed and had to be replaced (took 5 weeks). Then in year 6 the electronics went out again, but since it would cost $325 and a few weeks to fix, I opted to just spend $399 and get the LM2101. When it comes to electric mowers, the longer the warranty the better.

Yep, still using the hack now for a few other areas of my yard. Solid choice and reasoning. I hope ego comes out with a two motor dual blade to allow for a 30+ inch cut.

I’ve never had a problem with my grass at 3-1/2” with my dog but now that I’m at 3/8” I’ve got a few spots also 😢

This is my biggest complaint buying an EGO (2021 model) is that it doesnt cut as low as my Honda HRX with my seashore lawn. It doesnt look like the new model has a way to adjust lower like this one. Would recommend doing what Ive seen using washers to lower the blade height 1/8 to 1/4 inch? I’m considering it.

Gives me a give it a shot, but this one I could do my secret ultra low setting without having to mess with that. Without a perfectly level lawn I would never go any lower.

I'd put up a small sign at each spot saying "Did your dog do this?" That might be enough to change their walking path.

I put up a sign once asking nicely and politely to pick up after their dog. Overnight the perpetrator put a sign of his own over mine that said "Dog Shit is good for Grass".

Koven Carlson for me it’s a matter of torque... does anyone honestly believe this has as much torque/power as a gas one. Please for the love of God please don’t answer this before doing your researches. I ordered this lawn mower and have tested in under all sorts of conditions and it’s not up to the hype. NOW let me tell you that I’ve also ordered the $300 leaf blower and that thing is a beast. Yes to leaf blower hmmmm to the lawn mower
