I never tried it the way you do it. But I do use dead animals to attract fish. It makes them easier to catch. I use birds and small game. They work too. It is called chumming the water. This technique works in real life also😊

dude I thought they patched the solo lobbies. I managed to get into one yesterday with a friend (after I started a strangers mission) and was able to stay in the lobby for nearly 2 1/2 hours before we got disconnected. It was oddly relaxing and very stable!!

There’s many different locations on Dakota river if you experiment, managed to catch steelhead trout on the riverbank near the burnt out village and sockeye salmon round the corner further up the river

Great video here's a tip if you show up to your favorite spot for this trick and there are no fish all you have to do it take out your fishing pole cast it out with some cheese and the fish will start to spawn in!

The Dakota River can be a bit tough to find spots where the water doesn't drop off quickly from the bank...A lot of Trial and Error.

I went to the spot shown at the beginning of the video and used a whitetail deer with mixed results. Then I found a muskrat and used that and the fish just kept coming. The carcass was small enough that it could stay in the shallows and the fish would always have to pass over dry land to get to it. Any that didn't, I just had to walk toward them to scare them toward land and I got them that way.

You can also set predatory bait down as well iv got it to make 3 beaching points at once, but usually i just fish with a pole and after i get tired i grab all the fish on the ground and turn it all in at once for like 50$ in 20min,wish they had proper train,bank, and wagon robberys.

I usually skin the animal. There is a good place west of rhodes. Where you can get steelheads. And smallmouths and bigmouths. Pluss the big fish which sells for 7.25 i think. Remember that you also can tame a wild horse. And carry two big fish on your way to the butcher

Another good tip for you @lordkebun , When you have plenty of fish spawning in, throw in a stick of dynamite and get upto a 1000xp. I have been lucky enough to get 600xp for completing half of the challenge, but it is possible to get the full 1000xp in one go. If not you can accumulate the 1000xp over a few attempts.
