@@hg2. hello,The axial load is the total vertical load that the column is resisting. This liad is multiplied by factors to create the worst expected loading within the structure's lifetime (sometimes this factor is more than 1.0 sometimes it's less than 1.0) This example, but in the next video he works an example with actual loads/vakues.
